I am a student moving to 12 std now can I prepare for neet 2021 from now & is there any good chances for getting a seat for mbbs into govt. college with a good rank how should I start preparing for. it from now on daily basis??

Rehan Alam Student Expert 30th Mar, 2020

Dear Aspirant,

Yes you can definitely get a seat in some of the top medical colleges in the country next year if you are preparing for one year with sincerity and consistency.

You must follow these simple steps:-

1. Check out the syllabus and structure your preparation, made a plan on how you're going to cover the syllabus.

The best thing to help you in this is coaching material from some good institute. They have their material prepared according to the need of the Exam.

2. When the plan is ready, make a schedule. Remember timetable matters a lot for this one year. Be ready to give atleast 6 hours per day for the preparation.

3. Solve the questions from question banks and previous year NEET papers.

4. Repeat these steps. Follow --> Learn --> practice.

5. Also keep on revising the stuff every third week. It is also a very crucial step in your preparation.

Thank you.

Comment if you have any doubts.

Hope this helps.
Good luck.

If a student will clear the NEET exam with a rank good enough to get a govt. college with 16 years nd 10 months of age by the 31 December of the year of examination will the student get admission in any govt. college and if not then what can be done to get admission in spite of being underaged

Priyaanka Sarkar Student Expert 30th Mar, 2020

First things first, you will not be allowed to appear for NEET and your application will be cancelled if any Candidate is under aged. Because the system will automatically reject applications that do not meet the eligibility criteria atleast by December 31st of the year of admission. The Candidate will not get until the counselling. This is because once you enter your date of birth in the system, the servers will calculate your age for December 31st of the year of admission and pop up a warning stating you are not eligible. And you cannot proceed further unless you change the details entered. But if you still enter a wrong date and come until counselling, because the documents will speak otherwise, your admission will stand cancelled.
