Careers360: How to improve India’s medical education?
Dr. Sanjeev Misra: It is important to appoint good faculty in all disciplines of medicine to ensure proper teaching. To get good faculty, it is important to have a good salary structure for faculty and have an environment of research and teaching. Faculty should be paid additional research allowance, allowances to upgrade their knowledge and sharpen their skills. They should be encouraged to attend conferences also. Modern medical teaching is undergoing a major transition and it is important to have more problem-based learning, more integration horizontal as well as vertical integration in undergraduate teaching.

Dr. Sanjeev Misra: There is a need to increase them and they can only be done by improving infrastructure in medical colleges, increasing number of faculty positions and providing an environment where faculty is willing to join these teaching institutions.
Careers360: What should be the focus of MCI regulations?
Dr. Sanjeev Misra: MCI regulations should be practical, in sync with modern medical education methods.

This is the first time that NEET is conducting its admissions through NEET score. In 2018, the cut offs for various branches of AIIMS under SC Category have been as follows:
Now AIIMS exam pattern and marking scheme are different from than that of NEET. While AIIMS MBBS was conducted for 200 marks and also included English and GK sections while NEET is conducted for 720 marks and only in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Now AIIMS releases its results in the form of percentiles while NEET releases its score in the form of marks. So going by this, you will need more than 600. Might be 600-650 will be a safe score given the fact that 96-98 percentile is a higher cut off. This is an estimated cut off, And cut offs might change depending on various factors. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. How much marks are required for SC category student to get AIIMS JODHPUR in neet 2020?
This is the first time that AIIMS is conducting admission to all its branches through NEET score and so we can only give you a faint idea. In 2018 under SC Category, 94.2 6 was the cut off percentile for a seat in AIIMS Jodhpur. This is the first year that AIIMS will be conducting its admission to all of its 1500 seats through All India Quota. Now all this while, AIIMS conducted its own exam and the total marks was for 200 while NEET is for 720. While AIIMS released its results in the form of percentiles, NEET releases its results in the form of marks. And unlike NEET which has only Physics, Chemistry and Biology, AIIMS had GK and English sections. 94.2 percentile roughly translates to 575-600. This might be the cut off. Now cut offs depend on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. So you should aim for atleast 625.
