AFMC MBBS 2015 Merit List - The merit list of Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune has been declared on August 20, 2015.  Based on AFMC MBBS 2015 merit list around 2000 candidates has been called for AFMC MBBS 2015 Selection Procedure for 130 MBBS seats. Candidates who have filled the application form of AFMC MBBS 2015 admissions can check below for the merit list released by the Air Force Medical College (AFMC), Pune.Candidates who have been shortlisted on the basis of AFMC MBBS 2015 merit list have to report at the AFMC, Pune according to the date allotted for special test. At the time of special test, candidates have to appear for test, commonly known as ToELR. It is a test which access candidate’s aptitude in English Language, Comprehension and Logic and Reasoning. Along with this candidates have to go through Psychological assessment cum interview.

ToELR is a Computer Based Test (CBT) which consists of 40 multiple choice questions, each carrying 2 marks for correct answer and negative mark of 0.5 for every incorrect answer. The duration of CBT test is of of 30 minutes.

 

The marks obtained in ToELR at the time AFMC 2015 selection process will be added to AIPMT 2015 score (total marks of AIPMT 2015 is 720) to get a score out of 800. This will be divided by 4 to get the written examination score out of 200. The interview will consist of 50 marks. The final merit list of AIPMT 2015 will be based on the score obtained which includes written examination score plus Interview marks.

 

Total number of seats in AFMC MBBS 2015 is 130. Among the 130 AFMC MBBS seats, maximum 25 girls will be admitted to the MBBS course. As many as, 10 seats out of 130 are reserved for candidates from scheduled castes/scheduled tribes.

Important Note: Any candidate who has registered for AFMC MBBS 2015 and has scored marks more than the cut off marks mentioned above and their roll number is not in the AFMC MBBS 2015 Merit List must contact at 011-23092349 and also send scan copy of AIPMT 2015 Admit Card and score card mentioning candidate id on email id to [email protected]

  • AFMC MBBS 2015 Call letters for interview have been sent to candidates registered email id

  • In case any candidate does not receive AFMC MBBS 2015 Call letter for interview then they can contact on AFMC Admission Phone number 011-23092992/011-23092349

  • Candidates must note that AFMC MBBS 2015 interview dates will be changed only in case where interview date clashes with other entrance exam/ interview/ counselling

  • Candidates who wish to change their AFMC MBBS 2015 interview date must send application with supporting documents to Dean, AFMC, Sholapur Road, Pune – 411040. Dates may be changed only for deserving candidates

Since , there will be no more aiims ug now  and admission in aiims will be on the basis of neet , so now students need to check their eligibility for neet exam , to be eligible for Neet, candidates  need to have completed  10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board with percentage;UR - 50%, OBC/SC/ST - 40%, PWD - 45% ; percentage here is for pcb aggregate and there's no maximum age limit but minimum age limit is 17 years. Whether NEET eligibility depends on all subjects of 12th ...? or only PCB..? or PCB with English...?

You need to pass all the subjects in your 12th and then score the minimum required aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. For being eligible in NEET, you should score a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. It is 50% for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST.

now for all medical entrance neet is the only exam so are they going to give evn assertion reasoning in the paper like aiims or Will they increase the standard of asking questions how should I prepare ! for 2020

Dear Sucherita, now NEET will be the only entrance exam even for admission to AIIMS and JIPMER, . The general exam pattern will continue. NEET will have 180 questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology. 45 questions each from Physics and Chemistry and 90 questions each from Biology. here is the some tips you can follow to prepare for neet

Proper Study Plan: If you plan to self-study for the competitive exam, first thing

you should do is to make a proper study plan. A proper time table according to which you

will study is essential and make sure the plan includes time for revision too.

Quality Study Material: Second most important thing to be considered is the best quality

study material. NCERT Booksare considered to be the best books for the preparation of the

Mock Tests: Mock tests are considered an important tool for cracking any competitive

exam because such mock tests provide you the real feel of the actual examination.

You should at least attempt one mock test daily as it will help you in analysing your

performance and you will be able to check your preparations also.

Dear Dujata, now there is no upper age limit for NEET. There is also no cap on no.of attempts. If you have completed your 10+2 and secured a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemitry and Biology, you are eligible for NEET. It is 50% for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST. For the benefit of you and lakhs of aspirants, we shall detail the registration process.

ELIGIBILITY:

  • Indian Nationals, NRIs, PIOs, OCIs, and Foreign Nationals
  • No upper age limit as of now. The Candidate should be at least 17 years by December 31st of 2020
  • You should have completed your 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as your Core Subjects.
  • 50% Aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST Candidates.
  • NIOS and Private Candidates are also eligible
