AFMS PG Medical Admission 2020 - The counselling for AFMS PG 2020 medical admission will be conducted by the Directorate General of Health Sciences (DGHS) and the Directorate General Armed Forces Medical Services (DGAFMS). The authorities will publish list of eligible candidates for medical admission of AFMS PG in the form of PDF. Such candidates will be called for AFMS PG counselling 2020 which will be done on the basis of NEET PG qualification and fulfilment of other eligibility conditions. Aspirants must mandatorily register themselves with DGHS to be eligible for counselling. AFMS PG 2020 medical registration will begin in the second week of March and will continue till the third week of March 2020.

Through medical admission of AFMS PG aspirants will be granted for seats in the MD/MS/PG Diploma courses offered in eight of AFMS institutes. The authorities have divided the seats available for AFMS PG medical admission 2020 among different priorities. Candidates must note that the counselling procedure for different priorities will be different. The eligibility criteria of AFMS PG 2020 will also be different for different categories.
1. Priority I - Currently serving officers of AFMS
2. Priority II - Foreign candidates who are sponsored by the Government of India. Such candidates will be accepted on the approval of Ministry of Defence/DGAFMS/Ministry of External Affairs
3. Priority III - Medical officers sponsored by Parliamentary Forces or other organisations of Government of India. For these candidates, it is mandatory that they furnish sponsorship certificates with subjects for sponsorship by the authority to be considered for counselling
4. Priority IV - This category is of officers who are ex-servicemen and have completed their contractual service Candidates in this category of priority can apply only if they have completed their contractual service on or after May 1, 2017 or before April 30, 2020. This does not apply for candidates who resigned/dismissed/removed from their services
5. Priority V - Civilian doctors who fulfil the eligibility criteria and are ready to serve AFMS for a duration of five years after having completed the course are eligible under this priority. Doctors under this category have to sign a bond of INR 29,00,000 to the Government of India for AFMS PG 2020 medical admission
Candidates are required to fulfil certain eligibility conditions in order to qualify for AFMS PG medical admission 2020. In the points below AFMS PG eligibility criteria has been mentioned for candidate’s reference
Nationality - Candidates must be Indian citizen. This does not apply to Priority II category candidates
Age - There is a specific requirement in the age category for Priority V candidates only. Such aspirants must not be more than 35 years of age as on April 30, 2020
Degree - It is essential for all the candidates to possess MBBS degree from a recognised institution
Registration - Candidates must be holders of permanent or provisional registration certificate issued by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council (SMC)
Qualifying examination and percentile - As aforementioned, admissions will be granted on the basis of NEET PG score, thus candidates must secure minimum qualifying percentile as mentioned below.

The authorities will release AFMS PG 2020 medical application form in the second week of March 2020. Aspirants seeking admission in the said institute will have to register themselves online as well as offline mode to be a part of AFMS PG medical admission’s centralised counselling. The authorities will conduct counselling for 15% All India Quota, Central and Deemed Universities, and AFMS institution. Registration form for AFMS PG medical admission 2020 will be available to fill by the third week of March 2020. Candidates must note that it is extremely important that candidates fill AFMS PG 2020 medical application form to be eligible to participate in the counselling process. After filling the application form of AFMS PG 2020 candidates will have to pay application fee of INR 1000.

The authorities will release AFMS PG 2020 medical merit list priority wise. Dates for the same have not been announced yet. Candidates who have their names included in the list are the ones eligible to participate in the centralised counselling process. Candidates must note that the medical merit list of AFMS PG will reflect the merit rank of candidates and on the basis of the latter candidates will be called for counselling. DGAFMS will release a total of five merit lists which means that each of the priority’s candidates will have a separate priority-wise merit list for them. Each of the merit lists will contain AFMS PG medical counselling 2020 details like venue, date and timings
Aspirants will have to freshly register themselves on the official website of MCC to participate in AFMS PG 2020 medical counselling process. AFMS PG medical admission will be conducted on the basis of merit cum preference in offline mode. Candidates who qualify in NEET PG result 2020 and are included in the merit list will be called for the medical counselling of AFMS PG. There are certain documents that candidates are required to furnish at the time of counselling, particulars of these are mentioned in the points below.

The authorities concerned have laid down certain conditions that are important fulfilled by aspirants to ensure their admissions to AFMS PG medical seats. However, candidates must note that mere fulfilment of below mentioned requirements does not guarantee a seat in the said college.
AFMS PG 2020 medical admission is provisional and subject to ratification/confirmation by the university concerned and the office of DGAFMS

Candidates must note that Commandant of the college’s decision in regard to admissions will be deemed final and binding
Aspirants are advised to keep their NEET PG 2020 admit card and registration slip safely and with multiple printouts till admission is granted to them.
Civilian aspirants, under Priority V, will have to sign a bond for AFMS PG 2020 medical admission, details of which are given below:
Priority V candidates will have to sign a bond to serve as Short Service Commissioned (SSC) Officer for a tenure of five years with the Armed Forces Medical Services. Failing to do so they will have to pay an amount as sanctioned by the Government of India
The authorities will upload the format for the bond money on their official website, candidates are advised to go through the same. It is to be noted that the authorities concerned have full rights to make amendments in the bond amount at any time and if need be candidates will have to furnish new bonds to the Commandant of the college in which they take admission
Candidates will have to execute the bond in non-judicial stamp paper and register/notarise with the office of sub-registrar. They have to submit the same on the day of counselling at the counselling venue.
Any expense incurred in the due process has to be completely borne by the candidate himself, the authorities would not be responsible for reimbursement.

see one candidate can only apply for one type of category. in neet ug form there is option for obc ncl, sebc is comes under obc-ncl and if family income is less than 6 lakhs you may apply in obc ncl. however ews certificate is for general category candidates who dont have any other reservation criteria and whose family income is less than 8 lakhs per annum, also they have to satisfy the asset and income criteria to become eligible for ews. and you need to have valid documents for proof of ews or obc-ncl criteria. so I would suggest you to choose the category which you have legal documents on behalf of it.
