AIIMS MBBS 2015 Counselling - The open round of AIIMS MBBS 2015 Counselling is scheduled to be conducted on September 29, 2015. The counselling is being done for all 7 AIIMS Institutes. Candidates have to report at the counselling venue along with the admit card, counselling letter and original documents. No candidates will be allowed to appear in the counselling process without the original documents. AIIMS MBBS 2015 Open Counselling Round Venue and Time

List of candidates who are eligible to appear in Open Counselling Round of AIIMS New Delhi:

  • All reserved category candidates who are included in the UR merit list; 6 times of the open category seat i.e. rank up to 2022 are required to appear in the Open Counselling

  • Those candidates from reserved category, who are allotted seats in UR merit list on September 29, 2015 and wish to change his/her choice of institute  under respective reserved category, should stay back for the counselling of their seat in their respective categories on the same day

  • All concerned may take note that in open round of counseling vacant seats if any in reserved category will be offered to UR candidates

  • Therefore, all eligible candidates coming for counselling on September 29, 2015 should not leave and stay back at the venue till it is announced that the counselling is done

The third round of AIIMS MBBS 2015 Counselling was conducted on September 10. Candidates had to report the counselling venue as per their rank and schedule mention in the counselling letter. The third round of AIIMS MBBS 2015 counselling was conducted for a total of 90 seats remaining vacant at 6 new AIIMS situated at Bhopal, Patna, Jodhpur, Rishikesh, Raipur and Bhubaneswar.

Reporting Date and Time for AIIMS MBBS 2015 counselling round 3:

  • Eligible candidates for UR, OBC, SC/ST Counselling: September 10, 2015 at 8.30 AM

At the time of AIIMS MBBS 2015 counselling candidates have to bring Original certificates along with. For those already admitted in any of AIIMS have to bring statement of certificate from respective AIIMS along with. Failure to bring original certificate/statement of certificate as applicable will make candidate ineligible for allotment of seat in the counselling.

 

The OBC candidates who could not produce valid Central Govt. Institution/Job certificate in the first round of counselling and were declared not eligible will be allowed to appear in the counselling subject to production only of valid OBC certificate issued for Central Govt. Institutions/Job.

 

Any candidate feels that he/she is eligible but his/her name is not in the list can come on the day of counselling along with documents in Original. However, he/she will be allowed to appear in counselling for allotment of seat only after verification of his her claim of eligibility.

Those candidates from reserved category, who qualify & are allotted seats in open merit and wish to change their choice of institute under respective reserved category, will  be required to participate in counseling for seats in these categories.

Important Highlights of AIIMS MBBS 2015 Counselling:

  • Candidates have to report at counselling at the time on the date as stated in the Call Letter along with the documents/certificates in original

  • It is mandatory for all candidates to be physically present for counseling on the counselling day

  • It must be noted that no request for authorized representative on behalf of candidate will be allowed. If candidate fails to attend counseling in person they will be marked absent and their candidature will be cancelled

AIIMS MBBS 2015 Counseling Procedure:

  • The following process will be adopted for counseling for all 7 AIIMS Institutes

  • During the counseling process open category seats will be filled first. Candidates will be called for counseling based on their merit irrespective their category

  • Reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC) seats will be filled according to the candidate’s category. If reserved category candidate who had taken admission under open competition and opts for other institution of their choice will be done according to the rules of seats reservation of AIIMS MBBS 2015. The seat vacated by them in open category will be filled from the same reservation category only according to rank in merit list

  • Note: All reserved category candidates who qualify in the open (general) merit list must attend the counseling for open category seats and exercise their option and if they desires to opt for a different institution in their respective reserved category, then they may attend the counseling meant for that reserved category

  • If candidates is not present or fails to take a seat in open category, then they shall not be allowed for attending the counseling for reserved seats

  • The counseling for reserved category seat will be held first only after filling up of all the unreserved seats

  • Candidates who opted for AIIMS, New Delhi and got seat in AIIMS, New Delhi, will be required to report at 9:00 AM on July 6, 2015 for medical examination and admission formalities. These students are must to report for orientation program which will held on July 13, 2015

  • Candidates who will be selected for AIIMS Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Patna, Raipur, Rishikesh and Jodhpur, would be guided by the help desk counter of respective AIIMS at the venue of counseling (i.e. Jawaharlal Auditorium, AIIMS, New Delhi). The help desk will provide the details of the admission process in their respective AIIMS

  • In case during the open selection, any ST seat remains then these vacant seats will be transferred to SC category and vice versa. Any SC/ST seat which remains vacant will be made available to the general category. Similarly, if OBC seats remains vacant it will be made available to the general category candidates

Candidates must note that at the time of counselling they must have following documents in original along with one set of attested copies of all the certificates

  • Proof of Date of Birth – Matriculation/High School Certificate, Birth Certificate issued by local Municipal Corporation office indicating name and date of birth of the candidate

  • Certificates - Certificate/Mark sheet from the Board from which the candidate passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination and secured 60% marks (for UR and OBC candidates) or above in aggregate in the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry (Organic & Inorganic) and Biology (Botany & zoology). In case of Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates, candidates should have secured 50% marks or above in aggregate in the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry (Organic & Inorganic) and Biology (Botany & Zoology)

  • Migration certificate from the University/Board last attended

  • Caste Certificate - Certificate from the prescribed authority on the prescribed form for candidates belong to SC/ST/OBC/OPH category (if applicable)

  • OBC certificate should be valid for central government jobs/Central Govt. Institutions only, otherwise claim for OBC reservation will not be considered

Dear aspirant AIIMS conducts AIIMS NURSING exam every year for courses B.Sc (H) Nursing, B.Sc Nursing (Post-Basic) and M.Sc Nursing. The basic registration of AIIMS Nursing 2020 for B.Sc courses will start in the last week of November 2019.

AIIMS B.Sc (H) Nursing Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates must have passed class 12 under the 10+2 scheme/Senior School Certificate Examination or Intermediate Science or an equivalent examination from a recognized University/Board of any Indian State
  • They must have studied English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology as mandatory subjects and secured a minimum aggregate mark of 55% for Gen/OBC candidates and 50% in case of SCs/STs category candidates.

there is a news that all exams like AIIMS and other have been cancelled , and any student who want to make MBBS should approach NEET , In any college of India. Is this true or not ???

Hi Prabha,

Yes. According to the new criteria all students who want to appear for MBBS have to appear for NEET and there will be no separate tests for AIIMS and JIPMER. Admission in both the Institutions will be on the baiss of NEET score only. So the news you have heard is absolutely true.

Is... Aiims, jipmer and neet are conducting together in 2020

Hello dear student,
This time individual exams of aiims and jipmer have been scrapped off from the shevles. So there will be no individual exams will be held . But NTA will be conducting NEET which is the national entrance test and aiims and jipmer are included in this exam only that is seats of these colleges will be filled by NEET only . Now from 2020, there is no AIIMS MBBS entrance examination. So Candidates who want to study in AIIMS New Delhi and the rest of its branches have to appear for NEET alone. If you are planning on appearing for NEET, this might help you:

ELIGIBILITY:

  • Indian Nationals, NRIs, PIOs, OCIs, and Foreign Nationals
  • No upper age limit as of now. The Candidate should be at least 17 years by December 31st of 2020
  • You should have completed your 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as your Core Subjects.
  • 50% Aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST Candidates.
  • NIOS and Private Candidates are also eligible

Hi there,

The process for admission in the B.Sc(Hons) Medical Technology in Radiology in AIIMS are as follows:

1.The Eligibility Criteria:

  • The candidate should posses an Indian citizenship and should be of 17 years of age at time of admission.(17 years old on 31 December of the year of admission)
  • The candidate should complete his/her class XII with a minimum of 50% aggregate from a recognized board or university.
  • English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/mathematics must to be included in class XII.They are counted as the main subjects.

2. The Selection Process:

  • The candidate have to appear for the online entrance examination conducted by AIIMS for taking the admission for the course of B.Sc(Hons.) Radiology.
  • The selection is solely based on the merit of the candidate.


3.Counselling:


  • All eligible candidates whose name will be mentioned once the result for their chosen program for admission into AIIMS B.Sc. courses is out will be given a Call Letter for Counselling on the official website of AIIMS B.Sc. Admissions.


  • The counselling is to organized for all seven AIIMS and will be done in an offline mode at AIIMS, New Delhi.
  • The first round of counselling will comprise of the Mock Round for Counselling as well. An email/message alert will be sent to the selected candidates who are to be called in for counselling,
  • The choice of college has to be filled before the offline counselling process at AIIMS New Delhi. Candidates must note that for the counselling process, they will have to fill their choices through online mode.
  • . Candidates will be required to mark their preferences as per their ranks and seats will be allotted to candidates on the basis of their rank, filled choices and seat availability.
