AIIMS MBBS Admit Card 2019 – Through a press conference held on October 4, 2019, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare scrapped AIIMS. It was also declared in the press conference that NEET will be the only under graduate medical entrance exam in the country. Along with the announcement, notice to AIIMS, Delhi has also been sent to not conduct separate examinations. Earlier, AIIMS, New Delhi had released the AIIMS MBBS 2019 admit card on May 15 in online mode. In order to download the AIIMS admit card, aspirants were required to enter their registration ID, Registration Unique Code (RUC), password and provided captcha code in the official window. The examination authority had provided a facility to retreive the RUC number to get their admit card. In order to know RUC code, a link was available on this page and enter registration ID, password and captcha code. Before downloading the AIIMS admit card 2019, candidates must cross-check the important details such as name, exam date and time, allotted exam centre name and address, photograph and signature printed on it. In case of any discrepancy in the AIIMS 2019 admit card, students must immediately inform the authority. All the AIIMS MBBS aspirants must note that admit card is not issued in offline mode through post or any other medium. Being a mandatory document, the admit card should be carried to the exam centre along with an ID proof for verification purpose. AIIMS MBBS 2019 was conducted on May 25 and 26, in computer-based mode across 151 exam cities of India. The entrance exam contain 200 multiple choice and reason assertive questions from the syllabus of Classes 11 and 12. A total of 60 questions each will be asked from Physics, Chemistry and Biology sections along with 10 questions each from the section of General Knowledge and Aptitude and Logical Reasoning.

Last year, as many as 4,52,931 eligible candidates registered for AIIMS MBBS entrance exam, of which only 3,74,520 students took the computer-based test. Out of the test takers who appeared, only 7,617 aspirants managed to qualify the test, in which 2,705 were female, while remaining 4,912 were male participants.

How to download AIIMS Admit Card 2019?

In order to download the hall ticket of AIIMS MBBS 2019, aspirants can follow the procedure mentioned below.

1. Go to official website aiimsexams.org.

2. Click on the AIIMS MBBS admit card 2019 download link.

3. Enter login credentials i.e. Registration ID, RUC, Password and Captcha code.

4. Verify the details mentioned in the admit cards before downloading it.

5. Download AIIMS UG admit card and take two-three printouts for future references.


How to retrieve RUC to download AIIMS UG Admit Card 2019?

For the convenience of candidates, AIIMS, New Delhi has provided a facility to know the RUC, if forgot/lost. To know the Registration Unique Code, follow the steps mentioned below.

  • Click on the link available above
  • In the login window, click on 'Know your RUC' option
  • Submit registration ID, password and captcha code as displayed on the screen
  • Clicking on submit will display the RUC code, which can be used to download the admit card

How to retrieve AIIMS Admit Card 2019, if I forgot my password?

At the time of registration, AIIMS, Delhi had sent the registration ID and password at the email ID and mobile number, they can check it from the mail. In case, aspirants cannot retrieve it, they can follow the procedure mentioned below.

  • Go to the 'Forgot Login details' link on the login page.
  • Then, enter the registration ID/date of birth, mobile number and email ID (as mentioned in the application form)
  • After submission of these details, the password will be send to the registered email address

Discrepancy in AIIMS MBBS admit card 2019

Aspirants are advised to verify the details mentioned in the admit card of AIIMS MBBS 2019 carefully. In case of any discrepancy (date, time, name etc.) or in case candidates does not receive their admit card, or the status does not appear on the screen or any other similar issues, aspirants must immediately contact Assistant Controller of AIIMS Examination.


What to carry along with AIIMS 2019 Admit Card?
Candidates must carry the following documents to the exam centre for the verification purpose. Any candidate without the above-mentioned documents will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.

  • AIIMS MBBS admit card 2019 (original and printout)

  • One valid ID proof (same as mentioned in the application form)

  • One passport size photograph (as used while registration)

Anyone of the following ID proofs can be carried by the aspirants:

  1. Passport

  2. Aadhaar Card (Original or Printout)

  3. PAN card

  4. Voters ID

  5. Driving License

  6. Exam admit card/ marks card/ result sheet with a photograph of recognised Central or State Board

Note: The address, name, mobile number, Email ID as mentioned in the admit card will be same as mentioned in the application form. However, after closing of the registration process, such candidates can send a request mail at aiims.mbbsexam2019@gmail.com to the Assistant Controller of AIIMS exams through the registered email ID.


What not to carry with AIIMS MBBS 2019 Admit Card?

Following are the list of items which candidates will not be allowed to carry at the exam centre or in the hall:

  • Aspirants should not carry a pen, pencil, rough sheet etc.

  • Any kind of electronic items such as wrist watches, cell phones, pagers, calculator or any electronic gadget, Bluetooth devices etc. are not allowed in the examination hall.

  • Ornaments like headgear, hair band, hair clips, belts, badges, credit/debit cards, scarfs, goggles, thick-soled footwear, large buttons (more than 1.5 cms), books or any such items are strictly prohibited inside the AIIMS MBBS exam centre 2019.

  • No text material, printed or written, bits of paper or any other materials except admit card is not allowed.

  • Any other material which can be used for unfair practices should not be carried during AIIMS MBBS 2019 on May 25 and 26.

AIIMS MBBS Admit Card 2019 - Exam Day Guidelines

  • The admit card can be downloaded in the online mode only.
  • The printout and original copy of admit card along with a passport size photograph, valid ID proof must be carried to the examination centre.
  • Candidate without the required documents will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.
  • Since, AIIMS MBBS will be conducted in two shifts, the reporting for first shift is 07:00 AM, while for second shift, it is 01:00 PM.
  • The last entry inside the examination hall will be till 08:45 AM for shift one and 02:45 PM for second shift.
  • Due to several mandatory pre-examination frisking, candidates are advised to enter the exam centre 30 minutes before the start of AIIMS 2019 exam.
  • Aspirants are advised to familiarise themselves with the directions of exam centre allotted to avoid the last minute hassle.
  • Besides ID proof, photograph and admit card, no other stationery, ornaments, electronic items or any such items can be carried inside the hall.
  • The pen, pencil and rough sheet will be provided by AIIMS examination authority at the exam centre. While, the rough work can be done on the rough sheet and the back side of admit card, which must be returned to the invigilator.
  • Aspirants are advised to preserve the admit card until the completion of the admission process as it will be required at the time of AIIMS MBBS counselling 2019

AIIMS Admit Card 2019 - Exam Centres

With the release of the information brochure, the list of AIIMS MBBS exam centres 2019 has also been issued by the competent authority. Unlike 2018, this year, 151 exam city in the country has been made available for the candidates to appear for national-level MBBS entrance exam. During the final registration of application form, candidates were required to choose from the real-time list of test centres available at the moment. Allotment of exam centres was done on the basis of availability of seats.

Question: When will the AIIMS MBBS admit card be issued?

Answer: The AIIMS admit card has been issued on May 15, 2019.

Question: How can I get admit card for AIIMS 2019?

Answer: To get the admit card for AIIMS 2019, candidates are required to use their login credentials on the official website aiimsexams.org.

Question: What if I lose my AIIMS MBBS admit card 2019?

Answer: No, there is no particular dress code to appear for AIIMS MBBS entrance examination.

Question: My exam centre in my AIIMS MBBS admit card 2019 is too far from my resident, Can I request to change the allotted centre?

Answer: No. AIIMS, New Delhi has strictly mentioned in the prospectus that, exam centre once allotted will not be changed under any circumstances. No request in this regard will not be entertained.

Question: Do we get rough sheet in AIIMS MBBS exam?

Answer: As per the exam instructions, the rough sheet, pen and pencil will be provided by the exam centre itself. Candidates can do their rough work in the sheet provided and at the back side of AIIMS MBBS admit card 2019. However, the printout of admit card should be submitted to the invigilator after the exam.

Question: Is there negative marking in AIIMS 2019?

Answer: Yes, for every wrong answer, 1/3 marks will be deducted.

Question: How many attempts are there in AIIMS 2019?

Answer: There is no limit to the number of attempts for AIIMS UG entrance examination. However, one can give the exam only till the age of 30.

Hi Lakhyajyoti,

The NEET eligibility criteria states that the candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/BioTechnology and English as core subjects.The qulaifying marks for PCB is 50%-UR, 40%-OBC/SC/ST, 45%-PWD. So yes you are eligible to appear for NEET.

Know the Neet syllabus & what’s important


Study all the chapters taught in class 11 and 12 thoroughly. 70 to 80 percent of the overall questions are either directly taken from NCERT or are an advanced form of its learnings. Before you take on the study effort, go through the previous years' papers, so much so that, you can identify the important topics and concepts. Study those thoroughly, and prioritize these topics before you move to the less important ones.


Make a study strategy


Ensure you make a good timetable that includes solving test papers, regular revisions, and small breaks to help you recuperate and start afresh. Strictly abide by it and allocate more time to difficult subjects. Make it a habit to cover difficult topics along with interesting ones so that preparation does not become monotonous. Keep a track of time as you do not want one chapter to consume time and affect your overall study plan.


Solve test papers


As soon as you complete your syllabus, start solving as many test papers as you can. As the final date approaches, solve 3-4 test papers/mocks tests a day. Try to complete the test papers within the designated time. Demarcate the questions where you made a mistake and identify its cause. Revise all the incorrectly attempted questions well. In this manner, you will be able to understand your weaknesses better and prepare strategically, which is very important for a competitive exam like NEET.


Revise well


Along with your mock test papers take some time out to revise lessons. This should begin after you have completed studying all the lessons. If you are facing difficulty in grasping a certain topic, formula, diagram, etc, prepare a learning aid (like flashcards) and fix it in front of your study table. Do not be overconfident about your preparation and pay attention to the technique applied to crack the question while you’re revising.


Develop your own study technique


Every student will have a different strategy to crack the exam. While preparing for a competitive exam like NEET, follow a study technique that helps you recall your lessons well and allows you to solve the paper in the stipulated time. Follow the one that suits you best and adhere to the pattern till the day of examination. Do not panic and alter your strategy a few days before the exam - this is likely to hamper your preparation and affect your confidence before the examination.

1 months strategy for preparing neet

Hello Sabnam,

1 month is not enough for the strategic preparation for NEET. It will roughly take 4 -5 months to prepare strategically.

Here are some tips which will help you -

Read NCERT Books thoroughly

Always give priority to NCERT books, then prerefer any reference book

Solve sample papers and previous year question papers Daily

Take mock test

Revise the topics weekly

And stay motivated
