AIIMS Nursing Result 2020 - After the successful completion of the exam, All India Institute of medical sciences (AIIMS), Delhi will declare the result of AIIMS Nursing 2020 for B.Sc. (H) in the July 7 and AIIMS Nursing (post-basic) on June 13. AIIMS nursing result 2020 for M.Sc. Nursing is scheduled to be declared on June 15. Based on the scores achieved in AIIMS Nursing 2020 result, candidates will be invited to participate in the further admission process. In AIIMS Nursing B.Sc. (H), based on the result, separate merit lists will be prepared for the candidates belonging to General, OBC, Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe categories. The result of AIIMS nursing (post-basic) will be declared aggregate marks secured by candidates in Stage-I & Stage-II. For the master's course of AIIMS Nursing, the result is declared in the form of merit list which mentions the name of the candidates who are shortlisted for the first round of counselling. AIIMS nursing 2020 result will be hosted on the official website of AIIMS and thus candidates will not receive the details of result individually. How to check AIIMS Nursing result?

Each candidate will have to download the result of AIIMS nursing which will be duly put up on the official website of AIIMS. For the convenience of the candidate, the step-wise procedure to download AIIMS nursing 2020 result has been listed below.

  • Visit the official website of

  • Click on the ‘academics’ tab

  • In the branch section, click on the name of the respective course

  • Click on ‘proceed’ tab

  • Under the important announcement section, the AIIMS nursing result will be listed

  • Click on the list and the result will appear on the screen.

AIIMS B.Sc. (H) nursing result

The result of AIIMS nursing 2020 for B.Sc. (H) course will be released in the form of two merit list namely, roll number wise and rank wise merit list. It will bear the information of candidates who will be eligible to participate in the mock round of counselling. The merit list will include crucial information like roll number, category, category rank and the overall rank of eligible candidates. Such candidates will be required to give web options within the stipulated time period based on which the admission to AIIMS nursing 2020 will be granted. Along with the AIIMS nursing result for B.Sc. (H), the authority will also release overall cutoff rank.

AIIMS nursing result - B.Sc. nursing (post-basic)

The result of AIIMS nursing 2020 will be released in two stages as the evaluation of candidates will be done at two stages of a) written test and b) interview. Stage 1 AIIMS nursing result for B.Sc. nursing (post-basic) will be released in the form of roll number wise merit list of candidates who will be eligible to proceed to the next stage. The merit list will bear the roll number of candidates, category and the status whether they are AIIMS candidates. Such candidates whose roll number appear in the list will be required to attend document verification at the designated venue at the stipulated time period followed by an interview and personal assessment which is the second stage. The result of AIIMS B.Sc. nursing (post-basic) will be released in the form of aggregate marks secured by candidates in Stage-I & Stage-II. Based on the performance in the CBT mode test and interview/personal assessment conducted by the authority, a final merit wise list will be released which will bear details like roll number, category, total marks and final rank.

AIIMS nursing result 2020- M.Sc. nursing

The result of AIIMS nursing 2020 for M.Sc. course will be released in the form of merit list of shortlisted candidates for the first round of counselling. The list will include candidates eight times of the actual number of seats available for each category. A category wise merit list be release which will mention the roll number, category, category rank and overall rank. The counselling for M.Sc. course is conducted in offline mode at AIIMS, Delhi wherein candidates will be required to exercise choices as per their rank in the respective category.

AIIMS nursing result 2020 - Qualifying percentile

In order to clear the AIIMS nursing 2020 entrance exam candidate will have to secure the minimum required percentile. Each year, the exam conducting authority releases the cutoff. In the year 2019, candidates seeking admission in M.Sc. Nursing had to secure 50th percentile to be eligible for further admission process. With the release of the official information prospectus, the cutoff percentile for the academic year 2020-2021 will be revealed.

AIIMS Nursing Result 2020 - Counselling process

The counselling of AIIMS nursing will commence in the last week of June to the first week of August depending on the AIIMS nursing course. The mode of AIIMS nursing counselling will be conducted in online mode for B.Sc. (H) nursing whereas the counselling for B.Sc. (post-basic) and M. Sc. nursing will be conducted in offline mode. The counselling for each course will be conducted in various rounds.

  • B.Sc (H) Nursing - There will be three rounds of online counselling

  • B.Sc Nursing (Post- Basic) - There will be an interview followed by a personal assessment of the candidate

  • M.Sc Nursing- The authority will conduct online AIIMS Nursing counselling 2020, schedule and procedure of the same will be notified as and when available

If there are seats left vacant after the first round of counselling, subsequent rounds of counselling will be organised. Once a candidate has been allotted seat they will have to report at the designated college/institute within stipulated time frame.

Yes,you are eligible for AAIMS once you complete B.SC nursing.
AIIMS also has a specialization exam for BSC people as AIIMS Nursing.
Eligibility for AIIMS Nursing,
  • Candidates must have passed class 12 under the 10+2 schemes/senior school certificate examination or intermediate science or any equivalent examination
  • They must have studied English, physics, chemistry and biology as mandatory subjects
  • One should secure 55% for general category and 50% for SC/ST.
  • If you are doing BSC post basic then you should have diploma in general nursing and midwifery.
In the same way if your doing AIIMS MSc or BSC pos basics your eligibility may vary.

First step for initiation of admission process regarding BSc Nursing Post Basic is registration .There are two steps involved here under the Prospective Applicants Advanced Registration (PAAR) system newly announced by AIIMS - basic registration followed by Generation of Code and Final Registration. After, successful registration, admit card will be issued and as per the performance of candidates in entrance test, they'll further be called for counselling process.
