AIIMS PG Application Form 2020 – All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has started the final registration of AIIMS PG 2020 July session from March 20, along with the prospectus. Due to the massive outbreak of Covid-19 and 21 days of Lockdown declared by the Government, the submission of the valid OBC (NCL)/EWS has been made optional for the candidates in the final registration. The certificates, however, will be required to submit at the time of admission. Only the candidates whose basic registration process has been successfully completed can participate in AIIMS PG final registration 2020 till April 4 upto 5:00 PM. Earlier, the authority had revised the dates for AIIMS PG application form 2020 of correction window, status of basic registration and final registration. The correction window of AIIMS PG 2020 basic registration was available on March 9. Aspirants who have already registered for AIIMS PG January session are not required to fill the application form for July session again. In the PAAR facility, AIIMS PG application form 2020 July session is divided into two stages, which included Basic registration and Final registration. In the AIIMS PG 2020 basic registration process, aspirants have to register themselves by entering the personal basic details and uploading the scanned relevant documents/certificates. After the conclusion of basic registration, the final registration process of AIIMS PG 2020 application form will begin. Final registration of AIIMS PG application form included completion of the remaining registration process such as filling of qualification as well as contact details, payment of application fees, choice of exam city and printout of the submitted application form. It is mandatory for candidates to complete both basic and final registration; otherwise, their AIIMS PG 2020 application form would not be considered.

By filling the AIIMS PG 2020 application form, candidates will be applying for admission to around 546 seats in the Master of Surgery (MS), Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master of Dental Surgery (MDS), and MCh courses in the seven AIIMS institutes. March 28, 2020: The authority has released an official notice stating that due to the Covid-19 outbreak, the authority has made the submission of OBC (NCL)/EWS optional in the final registration. As per the official notice, the revised dates for the conduct of the said examination will be notified in due course of time.

February 22, 2020: Authorities has uploaded the status of AIIMS PG basic registration for July 2020 session. February 14, 2020: Authorities has released the notification regarding what to edit what to not in the basic registration for AIIMS PG 2020 admission. February 11, 2020: Through an official notice, the authority has revised the edit and correction dates of AIIMS PG basic registration 2020. The window for editing the AIIMS PG 2020 application form has been revised to February 17, while the correction in deficient images can be done from February 20, 2020. Since, the edit and correction dates has been revised, the extension of last date of AIIMS PG 2020 basic registration can be expected. February 10, 2020: The basic registration of AIIMS PG 2020 for July session is over. Only medical graduates who had registered for AIIMS PG basic registration can now edit their details and images for correction.November 27, 2020: The application form of AIIMS PG 2020 July session had begun. Candidates who wish to appear for AIIMS PG exam to be conducted on May 3, 2020, had to register themselves. However, aspirants who already had completed the basic registration form January session need not register again for AIIMS PG 2020 July session.
Before filling the application form of AIIMS PG 2020, it is recommended that the candidate confirms his or her eligibility criteria. Candidates must hold an MBBS degree for MD/MS and BDS degree for MDS from an institution recognized by Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India.
Aspirants registering for July session must have completed 12 months rotatory internship on or before December 31, 2020.
General category candidates need to have scored minimum 55% aggregate marks in MBBS, while SC/ST category candidates must secure an aggregate of 50%. Candidates with benchmark disabilities belonging to the above two categories must secure the minimum aggregate required in the respective categories.
The overall application process of AIIMS PG is made up of Basic Registration and Final Registration. With the introduction of Prospective Applicants Advanced Registration (PAAR) facility, candidates will be able to register themselves with AIIMS to take entrances from the next session onwards. Basic Registration (for July session):
Step 1: Registration
The first step in filling up AIIMS PG application form 2020 is basic registration. Candidates are required to click on the registration link to start the registration process. The Basic Registration for AIIMS PG 2020 July session has started on December 13, 2019. After clicking on registration link, 'Click here' button will be displayed on the screen which will direct candidates to an instruction page. It is advisable to read all the instructions carefully and candidates must be equipped with all the information that is mentioned on the page before filling the AIIMS PG application form 2020.
Select the course (MD/MS/MCH(6 years)/DM (6 years) or MDS) that the candidate is seeking admission to. Enter personal details like name, date of birth, category, gender, nationality, and details of the ID proof. After submission of personal details, enter contact details like email ID, contact number and then give consent for the declaration form. The image given below will guide candidates with the details that are required to be submitted in the first step of the Basic Registration process of AIIMS PG application form 2020.
After entering the personal and contact details click on 'Register' button as shown in the image given above. A message will be displayed on the screen which will display the registration ID. The login credentials will be sent to the email address and mobile number which were entered by the candidates in the previous step. Aspirants can check below the image and click on 'Ok' button to move to the next step of the AIIMS PG 2020 application form.
Now, candidates will be redirected to the applicant login page. Candidates will be asked to enter their registration ID, password and copy the captcha code. The details submitted by the candidates will be reflected and also the due steps as displayed in the image given below. Candidates will have an option to edit the details, if required, otherwise, click on 'Proceed to Step 2' button.
Step 2: Upload Images
In this step, candidates will be asked to upload their photograph, signature and thumb impression. The images should be in the white background and should not be blurred. The specification for the images is given in the table below. The instructions to be followed by the candidates while uploading the documents are mentioned in the image made available here. After uploading documents, candidates will be required to give consent to the declaration form and click on the 'Submit' button to complete the basic registration process.

In order to generate the Registration Unique Code (RUC) of AIIMS MD/MS application form 2020, aspirants must follow the steps mentioned below.
In the next step which is the final registration, candidates will be asked details specific to the exam for which they are filling the application form. Step 3- Qualification & Address Details

Step 4- Fee Payment
The fee for AIIMS PG application form 2020 is to be paid in the online mode via net banking/credit card/debit card. Candidates are suggested to take a printout of the receipt which has the Unique Registration Number as it could be useful in the further admission process.

Step 5- Choice of Exam Centre
After submitting the application fee, candidates are required to choose an exam centre in the AIIMS PG 2020 application form. The list of AIIMS PG exam centre 2020 is available for the candidates in the prospectus. The exam centres according to the order of preference have to be filled in by the candidates. AIIMS, New Delhi will allot centres to the candidates on a first-come-first-served basis and the decision of the conducting body is final in this regard. The choices of city that is submitted by the candidates cannot be changed later.
Step 6- Print AIIMS PG Application Form 2020 July session
After completing all the above-mentioned steps of AIIMS PG 2020 application form, candidates will obtain a registration slip. Candidates’ personal and educational details and the uploaded images will be shown on the registration slip. Candidates must take a print out of this slip for future reference. No change of details will be permitted after the submission of the application form of AIIMS PG 2020.
Status update of Final registration form:
AIIMS, New Delhi will update the status of final registration to inform candidates whether their final status has been accepted or rejected, along with the reasons for rejection of final registration form of AIIMS PG application form. Candidates will be able to check the status using the 'Registration Status Tab' that is displayed on their 'MyPage' after Login. Since the reasons for rejection will be notified, candidates will have to complete the deficiency in the AIIMS PG before the given deadline.

In the wake of Coronavirus spread, AIIMS PG July session 2020 has been postponed. The new date has not been released yet but there was a circular dated March 25th that AIIMS PG has been postponed. But it doesn't mention anything about extension of final registration. And the Final registration page has been deactivated after April 4th, 5.00pm which was the last date for the registration. The the last date of fee submission for aiims pg july 2020 session exam is 4th April 2020.
