AIPGMEE 2014 Counseling
for allotment of 50 per cent seats of Post Graduate subjects in government medical colleges began with Radio-Diagnosis, General Medicine, Paediatrics emerging as most sought after subjects during the Round-1 of seat allotment process.

According to Medical Counseling Committee (MCC), which allotted seats under the first round of counseling, MD (Radio-Diagnosis) emerged top choice with 45 candidates among top 100 allotments making it their choice of PG subject.  MD- General Medicine and MD- Paediatrics came as second and third favourite with 27 and 10 candidates respectively getting the two subjects.  The top 3 seat allotment was made for MD (Radio-Diagnosis) in Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi.

As per AIPGMEE 2014 first round allotment, out of 100 top rankers, as many as 32 either skipped the online counseling or could not get their subject of choice.

 

A total of 5452 seats were allotted during the first round of counseling process. Dr Bipin Batra, Executive Director of NBE, shared that out of 44442 candidates who had qualified AIPGMEE 2014, as many as 30495 candidates qualified to participate in online counseling for All India 50% quota seats based on cut-off for different categories of candidates.

The All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination (AIPGMEE 2014) which was conducted for admission to All India 50% quota of MD/MS/PG Diploma courses offered at Government Medical Colleges /Institutions except states of Andhra Pradesh and J&K is also being used by 7 states for filling up their 50% State quota seats.  Besides these, some large networks such as Armed Forces Medical Institutions and some private universities are also using AIPGMEE merit for filling up seats in their respective institutes.

According to the AIPGMEE 2014 counseling procedure, a candidate is required to join allotted institution and complete the admission formalities as per the seat allotted in first round of counseling. He can however make a choice for upgradation of subject and participate in the second round of counseling. The third and last round of counseling brings opportunity for upgradation of subjects for those who make a choice for the same during second round.  During the third round of counseling, fresh seats are also added and candidates are made to make their choice afresh.

A total of 70073 candidates had taken the computer based test AIPMGEE 2014 conducted by National Board of Examinations (NBE) during 25 November -6 December 2013.

no there is no fees to be paid as you have already paid the fees during the form filling. no fees to be paid during the correction period.

i had been asked to chnage the thumb impression, while uploading new impression it says sucessfully uploaded but in preview still showing old impression kindly help how to edit

hi,

see due to some server problem it still showing the old image, but I think it did uploaded successfully. you can check it from other browser like mozila fire fox, chrome or opera . if it still shows the same immediately contact with the exam help desk.

I edited my thumb impression as i received a mail telling the one previously uploaded in neet pg 2020 application form had an error.But i not received a verification message yet, to confirm my edited thumb impression is accepted or not. kindly send me a verification message as soon as possible .Tq

the verification message will be send to you from the exam authority of neet pg. so you just need to wait and regularly check the inbox of emails and also check the spam folders.

I edited my thumb impression as i received a mail telling the one previously uploaded in neet pg 2020 application form had an error.But i not received a verification message yet, to confirm my edited thumb impression is accepted or not. kindly send me a verification message as soon as possible .Tq

Hey,

You get a mail regarding verification only if you upload something which has error in it.

So now if you haven't got any message regarding your edited thumb impression and if you are able to submit your form successfully, then you can consider your form to be correct.

Also, just check all the details before submitting. And still, if something is wrong then you can make changes when the correction window opens in January.
Also, check your spam folder in the mail.

my thumb impression on neet pg application form got rejected.. now iam unable to edit the window. what to do?

Don't worry if your thumb impression got rejected. You can reupload it. Please read the instructions provided in the notification. The main reason for being rejected can be that your scanned copy is not clean. Try to upload a clear scanned copy. While using your thumb impression with ink on paper take a white paper and press your thumb fully, don't try pressing it for long, you have to press and take back soon. Before keeping your thumb on ink pad try to clean your thumb fully. If you have submitted your application and after that it is rejected then you will get an email and you can re upload within the given time. Hope it will be helpful. Thank you.
