Prometric is the testing partner and the exam conducting authority NBE has authorized it to conduct AIPGMEE mock tests this year.  As per the NBE notification, AIPGMEE 2015 registered applicants can take mock test on payment of Rs. 1000 per test which can be remitted through net banking, credit or debit cards.  Last year, the mock tests were conducted by NBE and were free of cost.

AIPGMEE 2015 mock test is based on a Computer Based Test (CBT) that familiarizes candidates with the navigation and functionality that can be faced during entrance test. The mock test is based on AIPGMEE 2015 exam pattern which includes a tutorial for using various features such as moving between screens, selecting, de-selecting, marking and reviewing responses etc. The test has sample questions through which gives overview and difficulty level of the actual test. Candidates can register for mock test till November 18, 2014. Once AIPGMEE Mock Test payment is complete, a summary of application will be sent to candidates on their registered email address within 24 hours.

The charges on mock test are, however, not going down well with the AIPGMEE candidates. AIPGMEE 2015 candidate Dr. Pranay Kumar from Chandigarh says, “Prometric is charging Rs. 1000 for one mock test which is not reasonable from my point of view. The fee is quite high and applicants have to think twice before taking for mock test.” He added that AIPGMEE is national level entrance exam therefore examination authority should provide free mock test as provided till last year.

Many candidates feel that mock tests are very important for them but charges on the same by exam conducting agencies are unjustified. Dr. Ramesh M Kapoor who took the AIPGMEE 2015 mock test says, “Many candidates faces navigation and functionality problem during the test and the mock test is the best way to accustomed you with these aspects. But unfortunately, NBE website takes us to Prometric website for the mock test and we are charged Rs. 1000 for each test as compared to other online test series available in the market available in the price range of Rs 500-1000 each.”

AIPGMEE 2015 entrance examination for admission to 50% All India quota seats of MD/MS/Diploma, in various Government medical colleges of India except PG Medical Colleges of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Jammu & Kashmir. According to officials, 10 states and 4 medical institutions of India will participate in AIPGMEE 2015 for admission against MD/MS/Diploma in their respective Government Medical Colleges. In AIPGMEE 2014, a total of 70,073 appeared and 30,495 candidates qualified to participate in online counseling for approx 5500 seats.
