Radio-Diagnosis, General Medicine, Pediatrics and Orthopedics have emerged as the most sought after subjects among MD/MS aspirants in the first round of AIPGMEE 2015 counselling declared on March 4, 2015.The AIPGMEE counselling suggests that the favored choice for the top 100 counsellingcandidates in the PG level medical entrance exam remains in synch with the past year’s trend.

Favorite Subjects of top 100 AIPGMEE 2015 Rank Holders:

According to the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC), which allots 50% All India Quota MD/MS and diploma seats in AIPGMEE counselling, MD (Radio-Diagnosis) emerged as the top choice with 40 candidates among the top 100 making it their choice of PG subject. While MD in General Medicine emerged as the second most favored subject with 28 candidates, MD in Pediatrics opted by 10 candidates made it to the third spot. Pediatrics has been followed by Orthopedics with10 and Master of Surgery with 3 candidates. The top 2 seat allotment was made for MD (Radio-Diagnosis) in Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi.

 

Elamvazhuthi who secured AIR 2 in AIPGMEE 2014 and is pursuing MD in Radio Diagnosis from Maulana Azad Medical College says that the trend reflects the popularity of Radio Diagnosis among medicine aspirants and the demand of the programme in the medical domain. He said, “Radio Diagnosis has seen much advancementin the recent years which involves a set of board diagnosis with use of radiology, ultrasound and magnetic resonance. Also, diagnosis is the key toany treatment.”

Based on AIPGMEE 2015 first round allotment data, out of 100 top rankers, as many as 9 either skipped the online counseling or could not get their subject of choice. This is comparatively less than the previous year when a total of 32 candidates opted out of the counselling process.

 

AIPGMEE 2015 Counselling: Favorite Subjects for top 100

 



A total of 5,489 seats were allotted in the first round of the counseling process- 37 more compared to 5,452 seats allotted in last year’s counselling. Dr.BipinBatra, Executive Director of National Board of Examinations (NBE), shared thatin AIPGMEE 2015 as many as 31,040 qualified to participate in online counseling for All India 50% quota seats based on cut-off for different categories of candidates.

 

The All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination (AIPGMEE) 2015 is conducted by NBE every year for admission to post graduate medical programmes across India. AIPGMEE is conducted for admission to 50% All India quota seats of MD/MS/Diploma in various Government medical colleges of India except PG Medical Colleges of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Jammu & Kashmir is also being used by 10 states for filling up their 50% State quota seats. 

Besides these, some large institutions such as Armed Forces Medical Institutions, University of Delhi, Banaras Hindu University and Regional Institute of Medical Sciences, Imphal are also using AIPGMEE 2015 merit for filling up seats in their respective institutes.

 

According to the AIPGMEE 2015 counseling procedure, a candidate is required to join the allotted institution and complete the admission formalities as per the seat allotted in the first round of counseling. He/she can, however, make a choice of upgradingtheir subject by participating in the second round of counseling. The third and last round of counseling also gives candidates the opportunity to upgrade subjects. During the third round of counseling, additional seats are also added and candidates are allowed to make fresh choices.

Hello there!

Greetings!

NEET PG 2020 will be conducted on January 5, 2020. Exact dates haven't been released but tentatively the application process of NEET PG 2020 will start in the first week of November 2019 , While students can fill their application form till fourth week of November 2019 . So, last date will be 4th week of November 2019.
In the application process, candidates have to register online , fill the application details, upload photograph and signature and make application fee payment.

As per NEET PG 2020 Eligibility Criteria,

candidate must have provisional or permanent medical registration certificate issued by MCI or a State Medical Council. that is to be carried on the day of the exam and during admission.


So, having a provisional certificate is also applicable.


In addition to the above criteria, candidates needs to have a valid MBBS degree from an institution recognized by MCI and have a degree or provisional certificate.Also, it's mandatory to have completed rotatory internship on or before 31st March, 2020.

If you are asking about neet pg, then photo requirements for neet pg application form is that"-
  • it should be a color one with white background only and at least 75% coverage of the face and head of the candidate, it should be passport-size, and not older than 6 months,
  • should be devoid of any border and the facial features and should be clearly visible,recently clicked,
  • Should be having the name of candidate ,date of capturing the photograph  imprinted at the bottom of the photo,
  • should be of 3.5*4.5 cm (width*height) in dimension and
  • the file size not more than 80 KB,printed on a high-quality paper with a resolution of at least 600 dp.

The NEET PG 2020 eligibility criteria for aspirants appearing in the postgraduate medical examination has been listed below.

Candidates must possess a valid MBBS degree from an institution recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI), and have an MBBS degree or provisional certificate to that effect.
Completion of the rotatory internship on or before March 31, 2020.
Provisional or permanent medical registration certificate issued by MCI or a State Medical Council. This must be carried on the day of the exam and during admission.
Candidates who have studied/qualified MBBS from Jammu & Kashmir are not eligible for All India 50% Quota seats. Only candidates who were nominated by the Government of India (under central pool seats) to study MBBS from Medical Colleges in Jammu & Kashmir shall be eligible for All India 50% quota seats. Such candidates must submit a duly signed affidavit declaring this.
