when I open any college profile, there is written - (Exams accepted Neet UG,Neet PG. etc) what does that mean?

Priyaanka Sarkar Student Expert 15th Oct, 2019

Dear Utsav, that actually means the College in particular has MBBS, MD,MS courses and the admissions to these courses are through NEET UG, NEET PG,etc. Apart from MBBS, courses like BDS, Ayush, Veterinary sciences also conduct admissions through NEET. In some States, courses like Physiotherapy, Occupational therapy also accept NEET score. So, if you are searching for any Medical College, this information showing up is pretty normal.

How many attempts are allowed for NEET PG exams?

Priyaanka Sarkar Student Expert 14th Oct, 2019

Dear Priya, there is no upper age limit for appearing for NEET PG and also there is no cap on the number of times one can appear for NEET PG. As long as you fulfil the eligibility crtieria, you are eligible to appear for NEET PG. Having said that, with amendments to NMC Bill, in the next 3 years, NEET PG may be scrapped. Until then, NEET PG will be the entrance exam for admission to MD/MS courses.
