AIPGMEE 2016 - The national level postgraduate medical entrance exam, AIPGMEE 2016 was conducted from December 2 to 8, 2015 for admission to 50% All India Quota MD/MS/Diploma seats in various medical colleges of India except Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Jammu & Kashmir. AIPGMEE 2016 was conducted by National Board of Examinations (NBE) for admission to as many as 5500 MD/MS/Diploma seats in government medical colleges of India under 50% All India Quota scheme.

LATEST NEET PG has replaced AIPGMEE.

 

There are also State Governments/Universities/Institutions voluntarily participating in the AIPGMEE 2016 who will be accepting AIPGMEE 2016 scores for admission to MD/MS/Diploma seats under their control.

According to NBE officials, last year a total of 74000 candidates took the post graduate medical entrance exam for admissions to as many as 5500 seats in 30 MD/MS and 24 Diploma programmes.

LATEST Update: Revised date for AIPGMEE 2016 exam for Chennai centre candidates. Candidates of Chennai centre whose AIPGMEE 2016 test which was conducted from December 2 to 8, 2015 was deferred due to inclement weather conditions can appear for AIPGMEE 2016 exam which is scheduled to be conducted on January 11, 2016. For further details regarding test centre, session, timing etc. were sent individually to the affected candidates on their registered email id and phone number. 

 

AIPGMEE 2016 Eligibility: Only those candidates are eligible for AIPGMEE 2016, who hold MBBS degree and have obtained registration either from the Medical Council of India or any of the State Medical Councils after completing compulsory rotating internship. The important eligibility criteria of AIPGMEE 2016 is given below:

  • Candidate must be an Indian Citizen

  • Registration with MCI/State Medical Council is necessary and its documentary proof should be furnished at the time of counselling and admission in allotted College

  • Candidates who have studied/passed MBBS from the state of Jammu & Kashmir, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are not eligible for AIPGMEE 2016. Such candidates must submit a duly signed affidavit declaring that they was nominated by the Government of India (under central pool seats) to do MBBS from Medical Colleges of Jammu & Kashmir, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana

  • Candidates must have passed their MBBS Degree Course and completed compulsory rotatory Internship for the year 2016 will be October 31, 2015. The Colleges recognized after this date will not be considered

  • A candidate who, after passing the MBBS is undergoing 12 month compulsory rotating internship/practical training and is likely to complete the same by March 31, 2016 can take up this examination but they will not be eligible for admission unless they have completed the compulsory rotating internship and obtained full registration on or before March 31, 2016

AIPGMEE 2016 Exam Pattern: The entrance exam of AIPGMEE 2016 exam was conducted in an online mode i.e. computer based test. The online question booklet of AIPGMEE 2016 will be as per the syllabus prescribed by Graduate Medical Education Regulations. AIPGMEE 2016 Application Procedure:  The online registration for AIPGMEE 2016 has over. The application form of AIPGMEE 2016 could be filled in online mode only. Candidates were advised to read information brochure carefully before applying for the AIPGMEE 2015 application form. The requisite examination fee of Rs. 3750 for General/OBC Category and Rs. 2750 SC/ST/PWD for can be paid by candidates through credit/ debit and net banking.

AIPGMEE 2016 Admit CardCandidates who have successfully registered for AIPGMEE 2016 can download their admit card in the month of November. Examination authority will send SMS alerts to the registered mobile number of applicants, once the admit card has been issued through email. Candidates must report at the examination venue by the time and slot as indicated in the AIPGMEE 2016 admit card.

AIPGMEE 2016 Result: The result of AIPGMEE 2016 has been declared by NBE on February 4. The AIPGMEE 2016 result has been declared for only those candidates who have score the qualifying marks in the entrance exam. The score card of AIPGMEE 2016 contains candidate’s detail along with the marks and rank secured in the entrance test.

AIPGMEE 2016 Cut off: The cut off score is the qualifying marks as prescribed by examination authority which candidates must score to qualify the entrance test. The AIPGMEE 2015 cut off score depends on availability of seats, number of applicants, and difficulty level in the entrance examination. According to officials, the qualifying mark of AIPGMEE 2016 is 50% marks for general category and 40% for SC, ST and OBC category. The result of only those candidates has been declared who had scored the qualifying marks in entrance exam. AIPGMEE 2016 Merit List: The merit list of merit list for All India 50% Quota will be based on the candidates score in the AIPGMEE 2016 entrance exam. AIPGMEE 2016 merit list will be prepared only for those candidates who will secure the qualifying marks in the entrance exam. The merit list of each category will consist of total of five times of number of seats available for allotment. The minimum qualifying marks of AIPGMEE 2016 for different categories are given below:

AIPGMEE 2016 Counselling: The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC), Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) will conduct AIPGMEE 2016 counselling in online mode for all the qualifying candidates. The second round of AIPGMEE 2016 Counselling will be held from April 21, 2016.

 

AIPGMEE 2016 Participating States and Medical Colleges: Many State Governments/Universities/Institutions will voluntarily participate in AIPGMEE 2016 for using its merit list for admission in the MD/MS/Diploma programmes seats in their respective Medical Colleges. The responsibility of the NBE is limited to the conduct of the entrance test, declaration of result and providing merit list to the DGHS and participating States/Universities/Institutions. Hello dear student,

It should not cause any problem because they have pasted your photo above it and also put the official stamp over it . Until something is not right nobody can put their stamp over it but there must be some signing authority so I would suggest you to attest your form from them . Otherwise having stamp is also says your form is attested. So I don't think so that should cause any problem .

do we need to submit/ upload ews certi during registration?

No , for filling the neet pg application fee you don't need to upload your ews certificate or your caste certificate but yes it will be checked during counselling so if you don't have ews certificate get it made before the neet pg counselling, actually only three documents are there which needs to be uploaded while filling neet pg application form which are listed below :-


  • Passport size photograph
  • Signature
  • Left-hand thumb impression




You should follow below steps to fill the neet pg application form :-


  • First do the NEET PG online registration
  • Then fill  the NEET PG application form
  • Now select NEET PG exam city
  • Uploading of images of your photo, sign and thumbprint
  • Do the payment of NEET PG application fee
  • Take the printout of confirmation page

Unfortunately, you cannot change your Category even during the correction window. You may have to re-register with a new email id, mobile no# and fill in the application form again. This means a new payment altogether. But to be clear on this, can you please write to the helpdesk at: [email protected]  to clarify with them if OBC Creamy layer comes under General Category?

EWS certificate for neet pg is applicable for foreign medical graduate!!?? Can they apply in this category?

EWS reservation can be availed by all Indian Citizens who fulfil the eligibility criteria. The eligibility rule states that a Candidate who belongs to General Category and doesn't claim reservation benefits of other Categories like OBC,SC,ST and whose annual income from all sources is less than 8 lakhs per annum can avail this reservation. So in other words, you should belong to General Category and then your family income should be less than 8 lakhs per annum. If you fulfil this criteria, though you have studied Medicine abroad and want to study your Masters here in India, you can avail this reservation

No, once you submit the form you cannot make any changes in the correction window except Dte of birth and category.No other things can be changed.

As you Said the mistake is of exam center. You should visit the state you have choosed for examination. There's no other option you have.
