my previous picture for neet pg got rejected , so i uploaded by taking photo in mobile and than editing it like a passport photo with size less than 80kb and at 200 dpi resolutuon . pixel size is 413*531 pixel . is this okay? my picture is very clear . but im not understanding is it really 3.5*4.5cm

Priyaanka Sarkar Student Expert 16th Dec, 2019

Bishal, a photo taken with a mobile has always a different and to be more specific lesser pixels than the photo taken with a professional camera. When NBE mentioned the dimensions, they have to be followed for the same resolution and pixel differences. Not to scare you but NBE opens its correction window only once and you have already utilised the same for uploading this photograph. Now you might not receive a mail asking you to rectify the photograph because the correction window has been closed. To be honest, if the photo uploaded doesn't fall within NBE guidelines, your application might be rejected and no admit card will be issued. You have to keep your fingers crossed.

Pankhuri Kumari 15th Dec, 2019

Hii Koel!

It's good to start preparing to achieve your goals  as early as possible. I appreciate you for that dear! But, let me tell you that you haven't tagged the name of the College which you are talking about. And, NEET PG is not a college. It's an exam which you give after completion of your MBBS course or any other similar course after NEET UG. So kindly restructure your question and ask agàin. Refer the following the links for knowledge about cut-offs.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-pg-cut-off/amp

And also, the eligibility criteria for applying in neet UG entrance exam is minimum 50% marks in class 12 for general category and 45% minimum marks for reserved categories with PCB as main subject combination. You will get a detailed information on eligibility criteria on neet official website. You can also refer following link for more details -

Hope this helps.

Good luck!

i didnt scanned photo and just clicked the hard copy photo with mobile and than edited it and put it below 80 kb and 200 dpi and applied it in my neet pg appliaction for re edit of my application photo . will it be accepted ? they asked for 3.5*4.5 cm , but my pixel is showing 411 * 531 pixel .okay?

Priyaanka Sarkar Student Expert 15th Dec, 2019
Bishal,  we wish  we could tell you that your application would be accepted slong with the photograph. Unfortunately there is a difference in scanning a photo and taking it through a mobile and editing it. It isn't the same. Now that there is a clear difference in the pixels and instructions given and those followed, the application will be rejected and no admit card will be released.

Sharon Rose Student Expert 13th Dec, 2019

Hello,

As you cannot provide them OBC category certificate you will be treated as general category candidate. So you can claim general category and your admission will be based on general category rank. You will be alloted a seat considering your general category rank.
