We belong to OBC creamy layer. Being unaware that this category is considered as "General" for PG NEET 2020, we have wrongly filled the application under OBC. Is there a way to "edit" that or should we file a new application or can this be changed during counselling? Kindly guide us please.

Ubfortunately, you cannot change yoimur Category in the NEET PG applicayion. You will have to re-register with a new Email Id and Mobile no#. You will have to fill in the details again and make a new payment altogether.

I have registered and filled the form for NEET PG which has been accepted successfully. But while making payment the amount deducted from my account was equal to that to be deducted for the ST category. But I belong to General category. Therefore I am in a doubt about the acceptance of my form.

Priyaanka Sarkar Student Expert 13th Nov, 2019

2 things would have happened here. Either you entered your Category as ST Category and hence that amount was considered as the application fees or secondly you must have entered the wrong amount. If you entered the wrong Category, you cannot change your Category in the application form and hence you may have to re-register with a new email id, mobile no#, fill in a new application again and make a payment again for the correct amount. Now, if you entered the wrong amount manually, the application will be rejected for making insufficient payment and in this case again you will have to re-register.

in the NEET PG 2020 application, my daughter,by mistake have put in her gender wrongly. Can this be edited during correction window or she has to apply afresh giving full application fee again?

Shareef 13th Nov, 2019
Hello,
.
No, you have no chances for editing gender.
The only things that can be changed in NEET Pg correction window are Dte of birth and category. Except these 2 things you aren't allowed to change anything else.
.
If dates are still open for registration, you should apply it again with new number and make a new payment.

Correction window for category change is opened for NEET MDS..will it be opened for NEET PG also?? kindly help me

Siddhi Shenoy 12th Nov, 2019

Hi Aspirant,

The correction window for NEET MDS was open from the 4th of November 2019 to the 9th of November 2019. This window was then extended to the 11th of November 2019. Unfortunately, that was yesterday and you have just barely missed it. Also, Category change was one of the criteria eligible for correction.

For NEET PG, it will be opened later in the month of December. Category and DoB are the two editable fields in this year's correction window.

i have filled wrong University of completion in neet pg 2020... please help #neet

Siddhi Shenoy 12th Nov, 2019

Hi Vivek,

I request you not to worry as there is a correction window available for NEET PG this year. It will be in the last week of December. However, the fields that can be corrected are dependent on the number of correction requests received by the NBE. Last year, only Date of Birth and Category could be corrected. You can write an application to the NBE and hope your category is selected for correction.
