In case of Tie in AIPGMET 2015 for both Medical and Dental Exams:

In case two or more candidates obtain an equal marks at the entrance exam for both Medical and Dental stream, then the following procedure will be followed:

AIPGMET 2016:

  • First Level: The candidate having more marks in final year of MBBS examination will be preferred. If the tie still persists,

  • Second Level: The candidate having higher aggregate in Marks of University examination of MBBS course will be preferred. If the tie still persists,

  • Third Level: The candidate having more marks in the subject of his/her choice for PG at the entrance examination will be preferred

AIPGDET 2016:

  • The candidate with more marks at the first, second, third and final year of BDS examination will be preferred. If the tie still persists,

  • The candidate with more aggregate marks at the Final BDS examination (Part I and Part II) taken together will be preferred

  • The candidate with more aggregate marks at the third BDS examination will be preferred. If the tie still persists,

  • The candidate with more aggregate marks at the second BDS examination will be preferred

AIPGMET 2016 is a gateway examination for providing admissions to post graduate medical and dental courses in Dr DY Patil University. AIPGMET 2016 is scheduled to be conducted on December 4, 2014 for providing admissions to 24 Diploma, 140 degree seats in MD/MS programme and 49 diploma and degree seats in MDS programme.

The NEET PG 2020 eligibility criteria for aspirants appearing in the postgraduate medical examination has been listed below.

Candidates must possess a valid MBBS degree from an institution recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI), and have an MBBS degree or provisional certificate to that effect.
Completion of the rotatory internship on or before March 31, 2020.
Provisional or permanent medical registration certificate issued by MCI or a State Medical Council. This must be carried on the day of the exam and during admission.
Candidates who have studied/qualified MBBS from Jammu & Kashmir are not eligible for All India 50% Quota seats. Only candidates who were nominated by the Government of India (under central pool seats) to study MBBS from Medical Colleges in Jammu & Kashmir shall be eligible for All India 50% quota seats. Such candidates must submit a duly signed affidavit declaring this.

Dear Sreenivasan, NBE hasn't released NEET PG official notification and schedule yet. As of now, all we have is a tentative schedule. The official notification will be released tentatively during the 1st or 2nd weeks of November. To be eligible for NEET PG, you should be able to complete your 1 year Mandatory Internship ateast by March 31st,  2020. how many phsically handicapped seats qouta in M.D.S in government Colleges .........in neet pg M.D.S

hello aspirant,

there are total 1352 seats are available in government colleges in india for M.D.S. however as per the rules of government of india 3% seats are reserve for physically handicapped candidate, (only for physically handicapped with the locomotory disorders and that too with disability of lower limbs between 50% to 70% as per MCI regulation) . so total 40 seats are for physically handicapped.

You will be happy to know that there's no minimum percentage which needs to be obtained by medical graduates to be eligible for neet pg . To be eligible  for neet pg  medical graduates are required to possess Indian Medical Council Act 1956 recognised MBBS degree or Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate. Candidates are required to mandatorily have permanent or provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification which is to be issued by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council (SMC) and candidate must complete their one year internship on or before March 31, 2020 to be eligible for Neet pg 2020.
