The overhauled online application system of AIPMT 2015 has been marred by several glitches, as reported by applicants of the undergraduate medical exam.
While many applicants are unable to download or access their E-Challans some others are facing issues with the botched up payment system. The online application platform is also displaying errors in updating information of the applicants.

E-Challans inaccessible?

The conducting body of AIPMT 2015, CBSE has enabled a new system where the E-Challans of applicants could be automatically updated with their names other necessary details. However, some students have found it difficult to access the E-Challan related to their specific banks.

Generally, there are four banks specified in the AIPMT 2015 application form, namely, Syndicate Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank and State Bank of India. However, students were having difficulties downloading the E-Challans of some of the banks.

Many students are unable to access their State Bank of India E-Challan even after a week since AIPMT 2015 online application began on 1 December, 2014. In fact, every time an applicant clicks to make payment through SBI E-Challan, the page displays a ‘coming soon’ message.

“The options were just not showing for SBI. Either the page had some issue or the SBI E-Challan payment gateway is not available”, says Reena Saji, an applicant from Mumbai. Unfortunately, AIPMT’s website does not provide any helpline details for SBI, which is notable as the contact details of the three other banks have been provided.

However, it is not just SBI, which is causing the trouble for these medical aspirants. The other banks are also adding to payment woes.

Vikrant Aggarwal from Jaipur could not get his HDFC E-Challan accepted at a local HDFC branch in the city as the bank told him that they were intimated to create any specific account for AIPMT 2015.  Despite repeated calls, there has been no response on the bank’s contact details given on the AIPMT website.

Vikrant has meanwhile submitted his E-Challan copy at the main branch of HDFC in the city and is awaiting response on the same.

What is the fee?

Not only is payment become an issue for many candidates, banks are also botching up the details of payment of the students. AIPMT aspirant, Vimal Prasanna who tried to make payment through the ICICI debit card payment gateway got a payment receipt of Re.1.

Interestingly, despite such a big glitch the payment gateway of ICICI still asked for confirmation of the application amount.

Wrong information?

Besides the problem with the application form payment, some applicants also faced issues when they submitted their details on the opening page of the AIPMT 2015 form. While the information submitted where that of the applicant, when the same appeared on the second page it reflected details of another applicant including the name and other details.

Applicants also faced problems with the compatibility of the browser they were using. The AIPMT 2015 instruction only suggested that student should higher of latest versions of the browsers. However, even browsers like Google chrome or Firefox were found to be incompatible at times.

There were some major glitches reported in AIPMT 2014, too, when administrators failed to include Arunachal Pradesh in the list of states for the purpose of uploading E-Challan.

The All India Pre Medical/Dental Test or AIPMT 2015 is a national level undergraduate medical entrance exam for admission to MBBS and BDS seats under 15% All India Quota in Government medical and dental colleges of India excluding Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Jammu & Kashmir.

Apoorva Student Expert 19th Oct, 2019
Hello dear student,
It's all in our head to be very honest if you will study for Neet now also then also you can get really very good marks and you can qualify Neet with flying colours. It's just that whatsoever you want to study and you are preparing you should prepare it with full concentration that will help you to score good marks. When you make a plan of a day and you choose some topic that you go going to study today of the day you are studying so make a habit of solving around 50 MCQs of a single topic so that it broaden up your mind about the questions that can be asked in the exam. And after this it's better if you solve previous year questions as is it gives you an idea what sort of questions are important and what kind of question can come in exam that really helps. I hope this was helpful to you.
Best wishes

before neet form is there any other forms for being a repeater?

Apoorva Student Expert 19th Oct, 2019
Hello dear student,
Earlier there were so many different exams to become a doctor but now need is the only exam for the medical student to get admission in different areas of medicines including MBBS, BDS, BHMS, Ayurveda medicines, unani medicines extra. So even if you are a repeater that is not a problem you just have to give Neet and you have to prepare only for Neet and on the basis of marks that you will get in NEET it will tell you in which stream of medicine you can take admission. I hope you are aware of this information that aims and jipmer are the exams who used to take separate exams now they will also merge with Neet. I hope this was helpful
Best wishes

I have 4 year gap between 10th and 12th(nios) will my neet form will be accepted or not

Aditya kumar Student Expert 19th Oct, 2019
Hello there!
No , there will be no problem , you are eligible for neet even if you have 4 year gaps between your 10th and 12th as to be eligible for Neet the condition is that a general category student needs to have passed class 12th with 50 % in pcb aggregate,  while it's 40% for obc , sc, st.  So , if you fulfil this with criteria then you are eligible for neet,  also there's no upper age limit for neet so you don't need to worry about that as well.
Prepare well for neet.
