AIPVT 2020 - Veterinary Council of India (VCI) will be conducting the counselling for AIPVT 2020 in the second week of July. Candidates seeking admission to B.V.Sc and A.H. courses can register themselves for the counselling of AIPVT 2020 by filling the application form. The counselling of AIPVT 2020, will be done to grant admission to 525 Bachelors of Veterinary Sciences (B.V.Sc) and A.H. seats which is offered by 43 government and 4 private veterinary colleges in India. The entrance examination of AIPVT 2020 was scrapped in the year 2017 following which counselling for veterinary colleges is done on the basis of merit position in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET).

The counselling will be conducted to fill the 15% All India Quota seats, reserved in all government colleges. According to VCI Minimum Standards of Veterinary Education (MSVE) regulations 7(8) 2016, except for the state of Jammu & Kashmir, 15% of the total seats from each college will be filled on the basis of common entrance examination.

On the basis of the rank secured in NEET merit list 2020, choices filled by aspirants, seats available, policy of reservation, the seats allotment process of AIPVT 2020 will be done. The course of B.V.Sc and A.H. is for a duration of five and a half years which includes one-year rotatory internship.

Candidates should be aware of the eligibility criteria of AIPVT 2020 before filling the application form. The points given below give AIPVT 2020 eligibility criteria in detail.
Candidates should be Indian Citizens
Those candidates who come under the category of Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs) cardholder and Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) will also be considered eligible for AIPVT online registration 2020. These candidates have to mention ‘general’ under the category column
Since the provisions of Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984, have not been extended to the state of Jammu and Kashmir, thus, Candidates from this state cannot apply for admission to 15% All India Quota seats. However, such candidates who do not hold domicile of the state of Jammu and Kashmir have to submit an affidavit as prescribed by the authority.
Candidates must have completed 17 years of age on or before December 31, 2020.
Maximum age limit for aspirants is not more than 25 years old on or before December 1, 2020.
Relaxation of 5 years will be provided to candidates of Other Backward Class (OBC), Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST)
The general, SC/ST/OBC and PH aspirants born between the following dates will be allowed for AIPVT 2020.

Physical Disability/Physically Handicapped:
Candidates seeking admission to B.V.Sc and A.H. courses through AIPVT 2020 under PH category must be included in the 15% All India Quota list published by VCI.
Such candidates who are affected from the disabilities mentioned below will not be allowed admissions
Total body disability which includes more than 50% chest or spine disability
More than 50% disability of the lower limb
Candidates who are visually impaired
Candidates suffering hearing disability
Candidates who have progressive diseases like myopathies etc.
Candidates suffering from disabilities which would otherwise interfere in their performance of being a veterinarian
NEET entrance exam
As per VCI-MSVE regulations 2016, 15% of the total seats will be mandatorily allotted on the basis of All India Rank of the NEET UG examination.
In order to qualify the mational medical entrance exam , candidates have to mandatorily secure the minimum NEET cutoff percentile
VCI will release the application form of AIPVT 2020 in the second week of July. Candidates who qualify NEET can fill AIPVT VCI 2020 application form. Candidates who have been selected under 15% All India Quota seats by VCI have the provision of online registration for AIPVT 2020.Given below are the steps to fill AIPVT application form 2020.

On the page that opens, they have to submit their NEET roll number and registration number in the provided space
In the next step, candidates have to enter their personal details like name, mother’s name, father’s name, date of birth, mobile number, email ID, etc.
Step 2 - Fee Payment
Candidates have to provide the payment details to pay the application fee. Candidates must note that payment can be made oinly through NEFT. The table given below provides with details for making fee payment

The application fee for AIPVT 2020 has remained the same over the years.If the authorities make any change in the same then it will be updated in the table below. Veterinary Council of India (VCI) will shortlist the eligible students through the process of counselling of AIPVT 2020. There will be two rounds of AIPVT VCI 2020 counselling in online mode. Candidates will be allotted seats on the basis of All India Rank mentioned in NEET 2020 result.
Prior to the commencement of AIPVT counselling procedure, candidates need to fill their choices for colleges and courses, where they wish to get admission. While filling choices candidates are required to follow the steps given below. Aspirants will be granted admission on the basis of the choices filled, NEET UG rank, seat availability, reservation criteria, etc.
Candidates have to follow the below-mentioned steps in order to successfully submit choices for counselling.
Once choice filling starts, candidates will be provided with a link for the same
Candidates have to enter their NEET roll number and registration number in order to login.
Next, they have to submit their preference of college as well as the course that they wish to pursue
The selected colleges must be saved by aspirants. While filling choices, candidates can interchange their opted choices multiple times
After having successfully submitted the choices candidates have to lock the options that they have entered
It is to be noted that no change can be made in the choices after they are locked by the candidates
When candidates lock their choices then a list of selected veterinary colleges will be displayed on the screen
Candidates have to take a printout of the confirmation page for future reference
Aspirants whose names appear in the allotment list have to furnish the below-mentioned original documents with self attested photocopy while reporting at the college/university allotted to them. Candidates who fail to furnish the required documents will have to face cancellation of candidature.
