AIPVT 2019 - Veterinary Council of India (VCI) is the regulatory authority of AIPVT which grants admission to 449 Bachelors of Veterinary Sciences (B.V.Sc) and A.H. seats offered by around 41 government veterinary colleges across India. AIPVT counselling is conducted for filling the 15% All India Quota seats reserved in all government colleges. As per the VCI Minimum Standards of Veterinary Education (MSVE) regulations 7(8) 2016, the 15% of the total seats from each college will be filled on the basis of common entrance examination (except Jammu and Kashmir). The eligible candidates will be shortlisted for AIPVT 2019 on the basis of All India Rank secured in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) exam. The application form of AIPVT 2019 will be available in the second week of August. During the process of registration, students will be required to fill and lock their respective choices of college and courses. Indian/OCIs/PIOs candidates of minimum 17 years old, who have passed Class 12 and NEET 2019 exam with prescribed marks will be eligible for AIPVT session 2019-20. The window for VCI online registration 2019 will be available until third week of August. While registering, aspirants need to enter their NEET UG 2019 marks and rank, personal, academic, contact and other asked details.

Candidates can read the eligibility conditions of AIPVT 2019 before start filling the application form. The basic AIPVT 2019 eligibility criteria below.
Aspirants should be a citizen of India.
Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs) card holder and Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) are also eligible for AIPVT online registration 2019. Such aspirants will be considered under general category.
Students belonging from the state of Jammu and Kashmir will not be eligible for admission to 15% All India Quota seats, as the provisions of Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984, have not been extended to the state. However, candidates are not a domicile of the state must submit an affidavit as prescribed by the authority.
He/she must have completed the age of 17 years old on or before December 31, 2019.
The upper age limit of students should not be more than 25 years old on or before December 1, 2019.
Other Backward Class (OBC), Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates will be provided relaxation of 5 years.
The general, SC/ST/OBC and PH aspirants born between the following dates will be allowed for AIPVT 2019.

Born between January 1, 1990 to January 1, 2003
Candidates must have passed their qualifying examination (Class 12) or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as a core subjects.
Students belonging to general category must have qualified the Class 12 or equivalent examination with 50% taken together in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology.
SC/ST/OBC applicants must have obtained 47.5% taken together in above mentioned subjects.
4. Physical Disability/Physically Handicapped:
For admission to B.V.Sc and A.H. courses through AIPVT 2019, the PH category aspirants must be included in the 15% All India Quota list prepared by VCI.
PwD aspirants affected from the following disabilities will not be allowed for admission.
Disability of total body including disability of chestorspine more than 50%
Disability of lower limb of more than 50%
Disability of upper limb
Visually handicapped candidates
Aspirants with hearing disability
Students with progressive diseases like myopathies etc.
Disabilities which otherwise would interfere in the performance of being a veterinarian
5. NEET entrance exam
It is mandatory as per the VCI-MSVE regulations 2016, 15% of the total seats will be allotted on the basis of All India Rank of the NEET UG examination.

The application form of AIPVT 2019 will be released in the second week of August. Only candidates who will appear and qualify the National Eligibility Entrance Test - NEET UG exam can fill the AIPVT VCI 2019 application form. The online registration for AIPVT 2019 will be available for the aspirants who will be selected under 15% All India Quota seats by VCI. Students must fill the application form on or before the last date as mentioned by the authority.

The registration fee for VCI counselling 2019 is expected to be the same as the previous year. In case of any changes, it will be updated in the article. The fees of AIPVT 2019 application form will be paid in the online mode only through NEFT mode, which is non-refundable and non-transferable. Check the category-wise fees to be paid by the candidates.

Veterinary Council of India (VCI) will shortlist the eligible students through the counselling of AIPVT 2019 process. The counselling authority will conduct two rounds of AIPVT VCI 2019 counselling in online mode. The seat allotment process will be organised on the basis of All India Rank mentioned in NEET 2019 result, which is to be announced on June 5. The first round of counselling will start from second week of August 2019, while the second round will commence from the first week of September 2019.
Before the commencement of AIPVT counselling procedure, aspirants will be required to fill their choices of colleges and courses, in which they wish to get admission into. In order to submit their preferences successfully, students must provide their NEET UG 2019 details, personal, academic, communication and other details for registration.
Thereafter, the choices of colleges as well as courses must be filled as per the preferences of candidates. They can fill as many as choices as they want. However, it is important for aspirants to be careful while filling their choices. After filling the choices, students need to lock the filled in choices. Once the choices are locked, it cannot be edited/deleted or interchanged. Based on these choices filled, NEET UG rank, seat availability, reservation criteria and other aspects, the admission to around 41 AIPVT participating institutes will be granted.
In order to register for VCI counselling 2019, aspirants need to follow the procedure mentioned below.

Thereafter, applicants must enter their preferences of colleges as well as courses.
Each selected college must be saved. While exercising the choices, aspirants can interchange the opted choices any number of times.
After the successful submission of choices, aspirants can lock the options entered.
It must be remembered that once locked, no choices can be edited/deleted or interchanged.
Once the options are locked, the list of selected veterinary colleges will be displayed on the screen.
The list can be printed for future references.
AIPVT counselling 2019 first round result will be declared in last week of August, in online mode. Candidates who will be included in the first round VCI 2019 counselling result must report at the allotted college for document verification and completion of admission process. The list of documents which will be required to submit at the time of admission are mentioned below.
Once the first round of counselling of AIPVT 2019 will be over, the authority will conduct the second round of counselling to fill the remaining vacant seats left. Aforementioned, the second round of VCI 2019 counselling in the first week of September, whereas, the result for the same will be released in the third week of September 2019.
Candidates who will be allotted seats should produce the following documents in original with self attested photocopy at the allotted college/university at the time of reporting. Fail to furnish the required documents will lead to cancellation of candidature.
