will aiims proceed their counseling according to neet scores ?or their are high possibility that they will prepare their own merit list 1st i.e retain their individual aggregates? or take a separate test for AR & gk

Priyaanka Sarkar Student Expert 16th Oct, 2019

Dear Akash, as of now, everything is speculative. Until NTA or AIIMS release any official notification regarding this, nothing is definitive. But there are 2 possibilities that might happen. AIIMS might prepare its own merit list based on its own eligibility criteria like AFMC and other Institutions and DGHS might conduct the admissions because AIIMS doesn't belong to any particular State. AFMC conducts a TOELR test, psychometric test and a final interview before shortlisting its Candidates. AIIMS might follow this rule. Nothing is certain at this point in time. We need to wait to hear from the concerned authorities.

What will be eligibility criteria for aiims after being combined with neet?

Aditya kumar Student Expert 16th Oct, 2019
Hello there!
Since , there will be no more aiims ug now  and admission in aiims will be on the basis of neet , so now students need to check their eligibility for neet exam , to be eligible for Neet, candidates  need to have completed  10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board with percentage;UR - 50%, OBC/SC/ST - 40%, PWD - 45% ; percentage here is for pcb aggregate and there's no maximum age limit but minimum age limit is 17 years. For more and detailed information go through

Whether NEET eligibility depends on all subjects of 12th ...? or only PCB..? or PCB with English...?

Priyaanka Sarkar Student Expert 16th Oct, 2019

You need to pass all the subjects in your 12th and then score the minimum required aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. For being eligible in NEET, you should score a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. It is 50% for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST.
