AMU MBBS BDS 2016 Counselling: The counseling of AMU MBBS BDS 2016 will be conducted in the month of September, 2016, tentatively. Candidate whose name have appeared in the merit list of AMU MBBS BDS 2016 will only be eligible to appear in the counselling procedure of AMU MBBS BDS 2016 Counselling. Candidates will have to present in person at the counselling venue to participate in the AMU MBBS 2016 Counselling. This must be noted that candidates who will not participate in the first round will not be allowed to appear in the subsequent rounds of AMU MBBS BDS 2016 Counselling.

The date and time of AMU MBBS BDS 2016 Counselling will be updated as and when it will be declared by the exam conducting authority.

 

Counselling guidelines for candidates under select list of AMU MBBS BDS 2016:

Candidates who will be selected as per the select list will have to present in person at the counselling venue with the below mentioned original documents:

  • High School Certificate or its equivalent in support of the date of birth

  • Certificates in support of Special Categories claimed in the Application Form, if applicable in the course

  • Marks sheet / grade sheet of qualifying examination (with FOUR Self attested photocopies)

  • TEN (2.5 x 3.0 cms) recent front facing coloured photographs (in white background)

  • Transfer / Migration and Character Certificate from the Institution last attended (if not enrolled at AMU). If the Certificate(s) is/are not available, the candidates may give an undertaking on the prescribed format to submit the same in a month’s time from the date of admission

  • Leave Sanction / Relieving Order from the employer for the entire duration of the course, if employed

  • OUR Self-addressed envelopes bearing postage stamps worth Rs. 22/- each (to be submitted in the Office of the Provost of Hall of Residence / NRSC allotted)

  • No candidate shall be admitted unless he/she has completed all the eligibility requirements at the time of admission and deposit the original marks sheet / grade sheet of qualifying examination

  • Undertaking before the Vice-Chancellor, AMU, Aligarh on plain paper regarding Compulsory 75% Attendance in each Subject / Course / Paper

  • Candidates will have to execute the enclosed Bond on Non-Judicial Stamps worth Rs. 1260/-.They should bring it completed

  • Two Oath Commissioner’s Affidavits on simple plain paper – one on your behalf and the other on behalf of your parents / guardian regarding not to indulge in ragging. The sample format of these Affidavits are available on the website

  • Fee can be paid at the Cash Counter of the admission Venue either in Cash or the Bank Draft from a Nationalized Bank to be prepared in favour of the Finance Officer, AMU, Aligarh payable at Aligarh

Counselling guidelines for candidates selected through chance memo (waiting) list:

 

Documents mentioned above for candidates under select list, also applies for the candidates under chance memo list. Therefore, candidates have to bring all the documents as stated above.

  • No individual communication letter will be sent to any candidate to participate in the counselling procedure

  • Candidates have to report in person for admission on the dates specified for the candidate under chance memo list

Candidates can check below for the step wise step procedure to appear in AMU MBBS BDS 2016 counselling:

 

Step 1: Candidate should submit the duly filled-in Form available under the heading “Document Required at the time of Admission / Reporting”) at the Counter No. 1 and collect the Form-II along with a set of two Admission Cards and Form-II(A)

 

Step 2: Submit the duly filled in Form-II at the Counter No. 2 and get the Documents Verified

 

Step 3: Proceed for counselling

 

Step 4: Go to enrollment counter for Allotment of Enrolment Number

 

Step 5: Payment of admission fees

 

Step 6: Get class roll number

 

Step 7: Proceed for biometric and photography for identity card and data registration

Hello there!
Greetings!
No , there will be no problem , you are eligible for neet even if you have 4 year gaps between your 10th and 12th as to be eligible for Neet the condition is that a general category student needs to have passed class 12th with 50 % in pcb aggregate,  while it's 40% for obc , sc, st.  So , if you fulfil this with criteria then you are eligible for neet,  also there's no upper age limit for neet so you don't need to worry about that as well.

Dear Aspirant,

According to last year statistics, a home-general candidate get into Maulana Azad Medical College with around 586 marks in NEET-UG. However, these trends are subjected to change over the years. For General candidate 580+ marks are needed to ensure a seat in MAMC. For OBC you might expect the bracket to go down by 5-10 marks. The opening and closing AIR for OBC last year was 32 and 112 respectively.

However, this year with the inclusion of AIIMS and JIPMER, there may be some changes in the required marks. Try for 570 though, that will be enough.

I belong to bc category. how much mark should i get in neet to get a seat in stanley college under state quota ?

Dear Jonathan, we do not have 2019 data yet. Neverthless, in 2018, under State Quota, 440 marks secured a seat in Stanley Medical College under General Category. As mentioned, this is 2018 data and cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of candidates appearing for the exam, no.of candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. Now in 2019, on an average the cut offs increased by 60-75 marks. Now Tamilnadu is planning on starting atleast 6 new Medical Colleges this year. With the availability of the seats, the cut offs might decrease. Having said to get a seat in Stanley Medical College, you should aim for nothing less 550-580.
