AMU MBBS BDS 2016 has been replaced by NEET 2016 as per the Supreme Court order on May 9, 2016. Now, admission in all state-level and private medical colleges will be done on the basis of NEET 2016 results only. Therefore, MBBS/BDS aspirants are advised to ignore the information given below on this page.   • Number of Questions: There shall be one objective type paper of 200 marks comprising 200 questions on Chemistry, Physics, Botany and Zoology

  • Medium of Language: The medium of AMU Medical 2016 exam will be English

  • There will be a Combined Admission Test for admission to MBBS and BDS.  Based on the rank in merit list and preference of candidates for the programmes allotment of seats will be done

  • Selected candidates will have to go through medical fitness examination before completing the admission

  • All Physically Disabled (PH) candidates will be required to appear in Tier-I Admission test. The eligible candidates will be allowed to appear in the Tier-II Admission Test

  • The AMU MBBS  BDS 2016 Tier-1 will be conducted in AMU Campus as well as in all the outside Admission Test Centres of AMU, as approved by the Academic Council and Tier-2 will be held only in AMU Campus at Aligarh

  • In AMU MBBS BDS 2016 Tier-2  only 30% of the will be allowed to appear in order of merit who appear in Tier-1 Test, in each category of  general  and  internal  candidates,  subject  to  a  maximum  of  15000  candidates,  which  is  the capacity of the University  to accommodate.  In case an exceedingly large number of candidates appear, the percentage may equitably be reduced, to keep the ceiling to a maximum of 15000 candidates

Scribe will be provided to the visually challenged candidates appearing in Admission /Departmental Test subject to the condition that the candidates must submit a written request for the same atleast seven days before the scheduled date of the Test in the Office where they submitted their Application Form. Blind candidates who have been provided with a Scribe may be given an additional time to the extent of 25% of the Test duration.

 

AMU Medical 2016 is a national level entrance exam conducted for admission to around 180 MBBS and BDS seats. Among the 180, 145 are MBBS seats in Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College and 35 are BDS seats in Dr. Ziauddin Ahmad Dental College. The admission to undergraduate medical and dental programmes will be strictly done on the basis of candidate’s marks and rank scored in AMU Medical 2016 Exam.

Hello !

You should choose code 02 dear as the code 02 is for those who have qualified Class 12 in the year 2019 or before and have not pursued any other course after the completion of Class 12 . So you need to select code 02.

Steps you need to follow for filling neet application form are listed below "-

  • Registration
  • Filling in the application of NEET 2020
  • Uploading of scanned images
  • NEET application fee payment
  • Printing of confirmation page.

Also you need to upload following documents for filling neet application form :-

  • Your passport size photograph:- background should be white , preferably with name and date of taking the photograph. Photograph should not be with cap or goggles. The focus needs to be on face (80% face coverage, ears clearly visible, on white background).

  • Postcard size picture:- Must be taken on or after September 1, 2019.Preferably with name and date of taking the photograph and should not be with cap or goggles.

  • Signature:- it should be on white Background with black pen; signature should be in running hand writing [not in capital letter].

  • Left-hand thumb impression:- it should be with blue ink on white paper

  • Class 10 passing certificate :- You should scan your Class X Passing Certificate for uploading

what size of photos should be taken to apply for neet application?

Hii,

NEET is a National level Common Entrance test. While filling the NEET Application form, the photograph should be 20 to 200 KB of Size and the format should be JPG/JPEG only. The photograph should be clear and your face should be 80% covered and avoid using taking photo on Mobile.

As I gave my reciding address for neet admit card, where my aadhar card address is different from that one so what should I do

Dear Aspirant,

By the way it doesn't matter but still for surity you can change the address of your aadhar card by  going to the government place where it is changed like some banks . all you need is to carry your address proof like electricity bill, rent agreement or property papers along with your photograph and photocopy of your present aadhar card  and leaving certificate. make sure you keep two copies of each document with you. you will get a slip regarding your changing of address which you can use for proof until you receive you new aadhar card with changed address.

PWD reservation is a horizontal reservation and n ot a vertical reservation which means for example if you belong to OBC category, you will be given PWD reservation under OBC Category. So can you help us with which Category and State you belong to?

neet ug form post card size photo required in landscape or horizontal?

It needs to be horizontal. Follow these instructions please:

Uploading of Photograph: Instructions

Must be latest passport picture in a white background with the Name of the candidate and date written on the photograph. The Size must be 50 Kb to 300 Kb and format should be JPG.
The focus has to be on the face with 80% coverage and ears clearly visible.

Uploading of Post Card size photograph: Instructions:
Must be latest post card size picture in a white background with the Name of the candidate and date written on the photograph. The Size must be 10 Kb to 100 Kb and format should be JPG

Uploading of Signature: Instructions

Candidates must sign with a black pen on a white background in JPG format with a file size of 4 Kb to 30 Kb

Uploading of Left hand thumb impression: Instructions:
The file size should be 10kb-50kb in JPG/JPEG format.

Class 10th Passing certificate: Instructions:
File size of 100kb to 400 kb in JPG/JPEG format
