How much i have to score in NEET for mbbs college or aiims college.

Apoorva Student Expert 12th Nov, 2019
Hello dear student,
I understand your query dear student but as you have not mentioned your category and I hope you are aware that JIPMER, AIIMS like exams have been scraped off from the shelves that is they won't be conducted separately instead NTA will conduct Neet in 3rd may 2020 . And seats of AIIMS and JIPMER will be merged in neet only . So you can expect slight increase in the competition as need will be the only exam that is going to be conducted nationally for the students who are appearing in medical field. Try to keep your marks above 580 if you are belonging from general category and if from reserved category keep it above 520 to 540 because likewise you will be  on a safer side to gain a seat in any government medical colleges. I hope this was helpful to you.
Thank you

I am from Odisha, in order to get a seat in any govt. college of Odisha, do I have to give the state-exam OJEE along with NEET ?

Priyaanka Sarkar Student Expert 12th Nov, 2019

If this is about admission in Medical colleges, then NEET is the only entrance examination for admission to all Government/Private/Central/Deemed Medical Colleges and Universities. There is no more any State level Entrance examination. So if your goal is to get a MBBS seat in a GMC in Odisha, it is NEET. It is also the entrance examination for admission to Dental, Ayush and Veterinary Colleges across India.

What should be my score in NEET to get admission in bims belgaum

Priyaanka Sarkar Student Expert 12th Nov, 2019
You havent mentioned your Category. Neverthless, in 2018, under State Quota, the cut offs for various Categories for BIMS has been as follows:
General Category: 428
SC: 298
ST: 404

Now this is 2018 data and cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam.

Veterinary Course is through MHT-CET (or) NEET

Priyaanka Sarkar Student Expert 12th Nov, 2019
Admissions for B.V.Sc will be conducted through NEET. NEET is the entrance examination for admission to Medical, Dental, Ayush and Veterinary courses across India. So if you are planning on NEET 2020, this might help you:

  • NIOS and Private Candidates are also eligible

Downloading of Admit Cards: 27th March, 2020
Date of Examination: 3rd May, 2020

I got 87.5% in 12th and if i will het 450 in NEET then can i get a medical college for MBBS ?

Priyaanka Sarkar Student Expert 12th Nov, 2019

Your 12th marks hold importance only for qualifying you for NEET. They hold no importance or weightage in getting you a Medical seat. For you to secure a seat in MBBS, your NEET score, Category and rank in the merit list matter. Now you haven't mentioned the Category and State you belong to. 450 might get a seat in Private Medical Colleges but for Government Medical Colleges you need much more.
