Hello,

Sorry to inform you that college leaving certificate is necessary to take admission through NEET in any medical college.

You can request your college authority asking for college leaving certificate with an considerable reason, again, or take legal action, like complaining to the University to which your college is affiliated as no institute can bound the students by refusing to provide leaving certificate.

Good luck!

what reservation percentage for Obc non creamy layer in NEET EXAMINATION

Priyaanka Sarkar Student Expert 22nd Nov, 2019

OBC Category has a reservation of 27% in NEET. This is applicable for both All India Counselling and NEET Counselling. So as a Candidate belonging to OBC, you should secure a minimum aggregate of 40% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology to qualify for NEET. And to be qualified in NEET, you should score atleast 40 percentile of top NEET score. That is the cut off. Now cut offs change every year and are dependant on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified in the exam, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. In 2019, the cut off for OBC Category was 107-133.

If you belong to ST Category, you should complete your 12th with a minimum aggregate of 40% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. If you fulfil this eligibility criteria, you are eligible for appearing in NEET. And yes, if you can score a minimum score of 500 , you can get a MBBS seat. It is possible to become a Doctor.

In Section 7, (Academic details of class 12 or equivalent) for filling up of NEET 2020 application form, "QUALIFYING EXAM CODE" What is this?

Priyaanka Sarkar Student Expert 22nd Nov, 2019

Most Candidates who appear for NEET are either droppers or repeaters or freshers. There are also Candidates who have joined some other course but want to appear for NEET. And then there are few people who must have taken Biology as an additional subject to qualify for NEET. There are many Candidates with many scenarios trying to attend for NEET. Because it is difficult to categorise each Candidate with description, NTA has come up with Qualifying code concept. In short, based on their educational qualification or their current course, the Candidates will select a code and it becomes easier for NTA to identify their educational criteria. There are 7 Qualifying codes that are applicable. To know about each code in detail, please visit our page at: https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-eligibility-criteria
