AP EAMCET Medical 2016 cut off – The cut off score is the minimum passing marks secured by candidates to qualify the entrance exam. AP EAMCET Medical 2016 cut off is based several factors such as number of applicants, number of undergraduate medical seats and difficulty level of examination. The AP EAMCET Medical Cut off 2016 will be published on this page once it is announced by the examination authorities. According to AP EAMCET Medical 2016 Cut off score, candidates belonging from unreserved category have to score 25% of the total marks to qualify the entrance test. While candidates belonging for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) no minimum cut off marks is prescribed but their admission will be limited to the extent of seats reserved for such categories.

AP EAMCET Medical 2016 cut off score for Unreserved Category:

As per the information mentioned in the AP EAMCET Medical 2016 admission brochure candidates belonging from unreserved category have to score 40 out of total marks 160 to qualify the entrance exam. The table given shows AP EAMCET Medical cut off 2016 for unreserved category candidates.

AP EAMCET Medical 2016 cut off score for Reserved Category:

The candidates who secured qualifying marks in AP EAMCET Medical 2016 and belonging to the Scheduled Caste and Schedule Tribe for whom qualifying marks have not been prescribed shall be assigned rank in order of merit based on combined score obtained by giving 75% weightage to the marks secured in AP EAMCET Medical 2016 and 25% weightage to the marks secured in the relevant group subjects namely Biology, Physics, Chemistry of the qualifying examination.

For the preparation of merit list, in case of inter se merit following procedure will be adopted to resolve ties:

  • Total marks obtained in AP EAMCET Medical 2016

  • Marks obtained in Biology in AP EAMCET Medical 2016

  • Marks secured in Physics in AP EAMCET Medical 2016

  • Percentage of total marks secured in the qualifying examination

NOTE: If the tie still persists among candidates the date of birth will be considered for assigning rank in merit list. The candidates have older age will be given preference over the younger

Candidates belonging to Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card holders their weightage of marks will be decided by a committee constituted by the competent authority.

The result of AP EAMCET Medical 2016 has been declared on May 21, 2016 by the examination authority Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada.  Candidates can check their result by entering their hall ticket number.

As per my knowledge NCERT organic chemistry is sufficient and best to prepare for NEET because it has to the point topics and explanations. Other than that a teacher or study materials from preparatory institutes are helpful. I hope this will be useful.
