AP PG MET 2015 Eligibility: the state level medical entrance exam “Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Medical Entrance Test” will be conducted by Dr NTR University of Health Sciences, Andhra Pradesh. The exam is expected to be conducted across all designated exam centers on March 01, 2015 in paper pencil based test format.

Candidates shall appear for paper-pencil test on the scheduled entrance examination day. Read the AP PG MET 2015 Eligibility criteria for admission to MS and MD courses at government medical colleges and unaided non minority private medical colleges located in the state. According to media report, last year the entrance exam was conducted to offer admission for nearly 2240 PG medical seats.  Out of which, 700 were government seats, including 200 in the ‘clinical’ category.

AP PGMET 2015 Eligibility

  • Candidates must be an Indian National/ Person of Indian Origin (PIO)/Citizen of Indian origin card holders.
  • Candidates must have completed MBBS in any one of the affiliated medical colleges of the University or in any medical colleges recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI).
  • Candidates must have completed internship on or before last month of March 31, 2015.
  • Candidates pursuing the PG course are not eligible to appear for the exam. However, such candidates have to discontinue the course by remitting the bond amount and stipend along with submitting the required documents.

Candidates have to report at their allotted exam centers andhave to appear for one paper only. The exam duration will be 3 hours and the question paper will contain 200 Multiple Choices Questions (MCQs) based on MBBS level important topics under Medical Council of India (MCI) regulation. To qualify the exam, candidates belonging from unreserved and SC/ST/OBC categories are required to score minimum of 50 % and 40% respectively in the entrance exam.

Yes,there will be 10% seats reserved for economically weaker section candidates..The Medical council of Indian has moved towards execution of 10% seats reserved in PG course for EWS candidates by increasing PG seats in existing Medical Colleges..For this,an increase in seats for Medical course in different Medical College will take place..

yes you can change your category by obc instead of general. And you can change anything in the application form before you final submit it and pay the application fees. please check thoroughly before you submit the application. hope you may understand.

Dear Amrita, NEET PG will have 3 sections and the exam will be conducted in online mode. Each section will be Section A with 50  Multiple choice questions, Section B with 100 Multiple choice questions and Section C with 150 Multiple choice questions. The exam will be conducted for 3 hours and 30 minutes. Every correct answer gets you 4 marks and a wrong answer takes away 1 mark.
