i have given code 2 in my neet qualifying examination code.i hvae passed my 10 from icse board and my 12 from Karnataka puc my code 3 and i have already edited my neet form so if its wrong i cant change it so will it be a problem for me during counselling under state quota in Karnataka.

Priyaanka Sarkar Student Expert 28th Jan, 2020

Your code will be 03 because you completed your PUC from Karnataka. Code 03 says: The Intermediate/Pre-degree Examination in Science of an Indian University/Board or other recognised examining body with Physics, Chemistry, Biology /Biotechnology (which shall include practical test in these subjects) and also English as a compulsory subject.

But if you have already utilised the correction window once, you cannot use it again. While this will not cause any issues during the State Counselling, please write to NEET helpdesk at their official email id:

I opted for EWS category in neet application form but my ews certificate will be made in march. So will i be eligible for ews catagory? plzz answer!!

Priyaanka Sarkar Student Expert 28th Jan, 2020

Rishabh, NTA clearly mentions that what you enter in the Application form is completely in your jurisdiction and NTA will neither entertain nor make any corrections in the application form at any cost.  Which means that by any chance if your EWS certificate doesn't come through you will not be considered under General Category. You will be still considered as a Candidate belonging to EWS Category. And if you fail to submit the relevant document during document verification your admission might stand cancelled. Having said this, as you said that your EWS certificate might come in March and the exam is due in June, you still have time to get the certificate done. You will need the certificate atleast by the time of counselling and document verification.

Hello Sir / Madam Im a neet aspirant for 2020 . My category is OBC and (PwD) 40 percentile (visual disability.) How much Marks should I score to get into MBBS/BDS in a preferably good medical college? Regards

Priyaanka Sarkar Student Expert 28th Jan, 2020

Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. Now the cut offs are different for All India Counselling and State Counsellings. States like Delhi, Jharkhand, Tamilnadu and Biihar have relatively higher cut offs than States like Meghalaya, Assam, Karnataka, etc. But in general if you are opting for All India Counselling, you will need atleast 550-575 for a seat in a decent College even in mop up round. Under State Counselling, you will need nothing less than 525-550. This again depends on the State you belong to.

please suggest what should i do now as did my signature in my neet application form with blue pen instead of black ink pen.

Pooja Kaushik 28th Jan, 2020
Hi Arsh,
If there is any problem regarding your signature , you will immediately be notified by NTA through a mail.
So if you have not received a mail,it is not at all a problem but in case of you have received any mail regrading this then re upload your signature with black pen.

Hope it helps
