Assam MBBS Application Form 2020: The application form for Assam MBBS/BDS 2020 admission will be available in the second week of June by the DME, Assam. The application form will be available online in the second week of June and has to be downloaded and submitted in offline mode before the third week of June. In order to submit the application form, each candidate must fill their personal and academic details, NEET 2020 scores/rank and also their choice of courses as well as colleges in order of preference. The candidates who will submit the form before the last date will be called for the first counselling which will happen offline in the fourth week of June. Only the candidates who will qualify NEET exam will be included in the state merit list will be eligible to fill the Assam MBBS application form.

Candidates seeking admission to MBBS and BDS Courses in the six medical and one dental college will be allocated seats on the basis of the preferences, state merit position and availability of seats. Assam MBBS Application Form Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for the admission, it is important for candidates to go through the eligibility guidelines properly. Below is the detailed criteria for Assam MBBS 2020 admission.

  • The aspirant must qualify NEET 2020

  • The candidates must be a citizen of India.

  • The minimum age of the candidate must be 17 years as on December 31, 2020.

  • Either the candidate or candidate's parents must be a resident of Assam for at least 20 years. They will also be asked to produce the domicile certificate at the time of counselling.

  • Students must have cleared class 12 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English and must have secured at least 50% taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

  • It is compulsory for the candidate to secure the minimum NEET cut off 2020 qualifying percentile.

Steps to fill Assam MBBS application form 2020

Below is the step by step method to fill the application form for Assam MBBS admission 2020. Candidates should keep in mind that the form will be available online, however, must be submitted in offline mode only at the time of counselling.

Step-1 Download the Assam MBBS 2020 application form

First and foremost, candidates are required to download the application form from the official website of DME. The Assam MBBS application form 2020 will be available in the second week of June. A link to download the application form of Assam MBBS 2020 will be provided on this page as and when it is released.

Step-2 Fill all the personal details in the Form

The following personal details must be filled properly:

  • Name of the candidate

  • Father’s name of the candidate

  • Mother’s name of the candidate

  • Full postal address for communication

  • Mobile number

  • Email address (If any)

  • Date of BIrth

  • Personal home address

  • Nationality

  • Category code

  • Physical identification marks

  • State in which the candidate is a permanent resident

  • University/Board/Council registration number

Step-3 Submit the Preferences of Courses and Colleges

Candidates will be required to choose the course (MBBS or BDS) they wish to pursue. Then, they have to choose the colleges in which they wish to get admission. It must be noted that the admission to Assam MBBS 2020 will be granted on the basis of these preferences, state merit position and availability of seats. Thus, it is important to enter the choices carefully.

Step 4- Enter the academic details carefully

Following are the academic details that candidates are required to provide:

High school leaving certificate (HSLC)/Class 10 or equivalent details

  • Name of the University/Board/Council

  • Year of passing

  • Division

  • Percentage obtained

Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC)Class 12 or equivalent details

  • Name of University/School/Board/Council

  • Name of the institute and state

  • Year of passing

  • Division

  • Aggregate percentage

  • Class 12 marks obtained in Physics. Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, English and total marks.

Step 5: Declaration of Assam MBBS/BDS application form 2020

Every candidate must sign the declaration form which states that all the information filled are valid. In case of any discrepancy, legal action will be taken against them. One of the parents of the candidate or guardian is also required to sign the declaration form stating that the information given by the candidate is correct.

Documents required for Assam MBBS application form 2020

Candidates who have their names in the Assam MBBS merit list 2020 will be eligible to submit the documents at the time of counselling. All the documents that are mandatory are listed below. These documents must be submitted along with the self-attested photocopy.

  • Copy of NEET Result 2020

  • Class 12 passing certificate

  • Class 12 mark sheet

  • Class 10 passing certificate

  • Class 12 mark sheet

  • Copy of NEET UG admit card 2020

  • Assam MBBS application form 2020

  • Date of Birth certificate

  • Identification proofs (Driving License/PAN Card/ Voter ID Card/ Passport)

  • Caste certificate provided by a competent authority

  • Certificate of Permanent residence

  • Fresh passport size photographs

  • Certificate of physical disability, if applicable

After the Release of the Assam MBBS Application Form

When the registration process has been successfully completed, all the Assam MBBS 2020 application form will be scrutinized by the authority. After that, the Directorate will call the eligible candidates for counselling for granting admission in the MBBS/BDS courses of the state of Assam. The first round of counselling will happen offline in the fourth week of June and the second round which is the last round will happen in the second week of July.

For admission in B.Sc. It is major concern.Your name in both marksheet are different and both certificate will be checked during counseling and admission.All you can do is go with name mentioned in 12th marksheet.But your DOB must be same as per 10th marksheet..10th marksheet is for DOB purpose..

Yes, According to the criteria mentioned by NTA, (s)he can definitely appear for NEET 2020. As (s)he will be attaining the age of 17 in 2020 and According to the criteria given, All the students whose DOB is on or before 31/12/2003 can fill the form for NEET 2020 and appear for the exam.

Hello dear aspirant,

Since right now you are studying in 12th and will give 12th board exams in coming months therefore your code in neet application form will be 01.
Code 1 says
Candidate those are appearing in class 12th and their results are awaitied in 2020, they are only eligible to get admission in mbbs or bds programme if they qualify in the 10+2 exam with required percentage of marks at the time of first round of counselling.
