Assam MBBS Counselling 2020: The Directorate of Medical Education, Assam will release the list of the candidates eligible for the Assam MBBS/BDS counselling 2020. The admission is for the 85% state quota seats offered in medical and dental colleges in the state. The counselling for the rest 15% All India Quota seats will be conducted by Medical Counselling Committee i.e. MCC. Assam MBBS 2020 seat allotment list will mention the eligible candidates amongst those who have appeared for the counselling process. The Assam MBBS counselling 2020 will be conducted in the offline mode and was open to students who have qualified NEET.

NEET 2020 is scheduled to be conducted on May 3, 2020, in pen and paper-based mode. The allotment of seats will be done on the basis of the scores obtained by the candidates in NEET 2020 along with the college option chosen by them in the application form.

Assam 2020 MBBS Counselling Procedure

  • Assam MBBS counselling 2020 will be conducted in the offline mode, which will have two rounds.

  • To be a part of the Assam MBBS counselling, students must qualify NEET 2020.

  • A merit list will be published by the DME, Assam which will have the names of the selected candidates based on their NEET 2020 scores. Only candidates with their names on the list will be eligible for the counselling process.

  • Eligible candidates are required to fill and submit the Assam MBBS application form 2020 before the late date, which is the third week of June.

Along with all the documents, candidates at the time of reporting are required to bring the originals and self-attested photocopies of all the essential documents.

Assam MBBS Seat Allotment 2020

The allotment of seats will be based on the merit rank of the candidate state list. There will be two rounds in the counselling and the result for each round will be published on the official website. The Assam MBBS 2020 seat allotment results would include details like the name of the candidate, roll number, state merit rank as well as the name of the allotted institute. In a situation where a candidate is unable to be present in the counselling venue on the scheduled day, his/her allotted seat would be withdrawn. Assam MBBS Seat Matrix

After the completion of the counselling process, eligible students will be granted admission to around 900 MBBS and 40 BDS seats in six medical and one dental college in the state.

The Economically Weaker Section (EWS) Quota

A new category i.e EWS category has introduced which are purely meant for the general candidates. Candidates claiming for EWS quota seats are directed to bring the Annexure-XI completely filled up and properly signed by the concerned circle officer at the time of counselling. Candidate can have a look at the last year's income and asset certificate for EWS category. Click here

Hi Aspirant,

Hope you are ready to ACE the exam!! If you are serious for NEET exams then you might have covered whole syllabus of class 12th as well as of 11th. Now I am providing here some smart tips which you can follow to finish up your preparation :-

  • Make proper schedule which includes time for studies as well as for your hobbies which makes you fresh.
  • Go through the topics which are difficult for you to understand.
  • Solve previous year papers as many as you can by setting time in your stopwatch. This practice improves your time management skill.
  • Go through all the formulas. All formulas should be on your tongue.
  • Weekly go through your notes.
  • Don't go behind very heavy or thick books which can lose your confidence level.
  • Practice different types of question as many as you can.
  • Be health cautious. Don't eat junk food or very oily and spicy food. Eat fresh food.

With NEET pg results being declared, most of the students are anxious to know which college can they get in. Since you are from.obc, you'll sightly be at advantage. You can try in Government medical college haldwani, governmemt medical college bhilwara, government medical college pali, ESI PGIMSR chennai, belagavi institute of medical sciences, rajmata vijaya raje.

Cutoffs are subject to change so don't consider this as final, this is just as an idea as to what options you have
