ASSO CET 2015 Counselling - The third round of ASSO CET 2015 counselling has been conducted with declaration of seat allotment result.Candidates who had appeared in the ASSO CET 2015 third round of counselling can check the link below for the seat allotment result.The exam conducting authority, i.e. Association of Management of unaided Private and Dental Colleges, Maharshatra has released the third counselling schedule of ASSO CET 2015 for the vacant MBBS and BDS seats.

Candidates have to join the allotted medical or dental college by July 3, 2015. The second round of ASSO CET 2015 counselling will be conducted by examination authority tentatively in the second week of July, 2015. 


According to officials, candidates must go to the allotted institute and get their documents verified and their admission will be confirmed only after verification of documents. Candidates must report allotted to the respective medical and dental colleges on or before July 3, 2015 with all original documents and fees of the Institute. For allotment in reserved category, it is essential to submit the caste and caste validity certificate and non-creamy layer certificate where applicable.

The counselling ASSO CET 2015 has begun from June 15, 2015 with commencement of filling of preference form by qualified candidates.  ASSO CET 2015 Counselling Preference form filled by candidate will be centrally processed by computer on the basis of merit cum preference and list of selected candidates will be declared.

Online submission of ASSO CET 2015 preference form has commenced from June 15, 2015. Candidates can fill the preference form of ASSO CET 2015 based on their result from the link given below. The last date for filling up ASSO CET 2015 preference form is June 20, 2015.


For MBBS and BDS course minimum 50% marks are required in ASSO CET 2015 for open Category Students and 40% marks are required for Reserve Category Students. Candidates who do not comply with this condition will not be eligible for ASSO CET 2015 counselling.

ASSO CET 2015 counselling will be done for admissions to MBBS and BDS courses in 24 private Medical and Dental colleges of Maharashtra. Among these 24 institutions, 5 are medical colleges and 19 are dental colleges. ASSO CET 2015 score will be the basis for admission to a total of 600 MBBS in 5 private Medical and 1700 BDS seats 18 private Dental colleges of Maharashtra.

Highlights of ASSO CET 2015 counselling Process:

  • Candidates have to submit only one Preference Form in online mode. The aspirants have to fill fill-in all the relevant information along with their roll number, ASSO CET 2015 merit number and other information as required

  • Candidate must carefully read all the instructions before filling the ASSO CET 2015 Preference Form. Candidate should carefully fill the Course and College Code and after submission take one printout for personal record. It must be noted that there will be no change like addition or deletion in the preference at any stage after submission of preference form

  • Candidate can fill minimum one preference or any desired number up to maximum of 100 preferences. Aspirants must note that same course and college code should not be filled more than once

  • If a Candidate does not give Preference for a Particular College then it means that they are not interested in that medical or dental College. Candidate must note that there will be no Change/Addition /Deletion in the Preference at any stage after submission of preference form

  • The candidate selected as per their Merit Cum Preference for a Particular College. In case the candidate fails to join the Allotted College they will be debarred from subsequent round of ASSO CET 2015 counselling

  • In case the candidate is not selected in the First Selected List then they will remains eligible for the subsequent Rounds as per Preference which they has given in the Preference Form for MBBS or BDS course

  • For filling of vacant seats after the First Round of ASSO CET 2015 counselling same Preference Form will be considered and no separate Preference Form will be required to be filled in by the candidate

  • Candidates must note that while filling the ASSO CET 2015 Preference form merit number will be operated from number one onwards in each round of selection. The candidate selected in previous round of counselling will be considered for betterment in the subsequent round. Only those candidates will be eligible for subsequent round who have filled Status Retention Form. Such candidate who has filled Status Retention Form will not be considered for subsequent Rounds of ASSO CET 2015 counselling

  • Based on Merit and Preference given, the seat will be allotted on merit and the allotment will be displayed on official website. No separate letters will be issued to the candidates regarding their selection for medical or dental colleges. They should report to the allotted medical or dental colleges with a printout downloaded from the website

  • Status Retention of Admissions: After selection in first round if candidate desires to retain the same selection (Course & College) and does not want to take any further betterment then they can do so by filing ‘Status Retention Form’ in prescribed proforma. Status Retention Form is to be submitted to the Competent Authority through the College Principal/Dean where they are admitted. However Candidate should note that once Retention Form is given that their admission is confirmed in that College and their name will be deleted from the further selection process

Documents required for ASSO CET 2015 Counselling:

Candidates have to report the allotted Private Medical and Dental Colleges, Maharashtra along with all Original Certificates and one set of attested photocopies of each document as per the schedule. All Original Certificates will be verified by the allotted College before finalizing the admission. Certificates and documents should be submitted according to the list given below:

  • ASSO CET 2015 Mark Sheet

  • Nationality Certificate or Valid Passport

  • Proof of Age (SSC Passing Certificate)

  • Statement of Marks obtained in the HSC or equivalent examination

  • Passing Certificate of HSC or equivalent

  • Last School/College Leaving Certificate

  • Medical Fitness Certificate on format available in ASSO CET 2015 admission brochure

  • Certificate of Caste Validity and non-creamy layer issued by appropriate authorities of the Government of Maharashtra wherever it is applicable

You will be happy to know that there's no minimum percentage which needs to be obtained by medical graduates to be eligible for neet pg . To be eligible  for neet pg  medical graduates are required to possess Indian Medical Council Act 1956 recognised MBBS degree or Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate. Candidates are required to mandatorily have permanent or provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification which is to be issued by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council (SMC) and candidate must complete their one year internship on or before March 31, 2020 to be eligible for Neet pg 2020. when I open any college profile, there is written - (Exams accepted Neet UG,Neet PG. etc) what does that mean?

Dear Utsav, that actually means the College in particular has MBBS, MD,MS courses and the admissions to these courses are through NEET UG, NEET PG,etc. Apart from MBBS, courses like BDS, Ayush, Veterinary sciences also conduct admissions through NEET. In some States, courses like Physiotherapy, Occupational therapy also accept NEET score. So, if you are searching for any Medical College, this information showing up is pretty normal.


How many attempts are allowed for NEET PG exams?

Dear Priya, there is no upper age limit for appearing for NEET PG and also there is no cap on the number of times one can appear for NEET PG. As long as you fulfil the eligibility crtieria, you are eligible to appear for NEET PG. Having said that, with amendments to NMC Bill, in the next 3 years, NEET PG may be scrapped. As you have asked about the release date of the application form for neet PG so dear student the form will come around in the first week of November and it will last till the last week of November. And it will be online mode of application form filling. In order to to fill application form to get admission in master of surgery that is MS and doctor of medicine that is MD this form is filled. Dear Shyam, there is no upper age limit for appearing for NEET PG. You haven't mentioned your highest qualification. But for being eligible for NEET PG, you should have completed your MBBS along with 1 year mandatory rotational internship. You can check the complete eligibility criteria here:
