ASSO CET 2016 has been replaced by NEET 2016 as per the Supreme Court order on May 9, 2016. Now, admission in all state-level and private medical colleges will be done on the basis of NEET 2016 results only. Therefore, MBBS/BDS aspirants are advised to ignore the information given below on this page. ASSO CET 2016 is a national level entrance exam conducted for admission to approximately 600 MBBS seats in 5 private Medical and 1800 BDS seats in 20 private Dental Colleges of Maharashtra.

ASSO CET 2016 exam will be pen and paper based exam which will be conducted for 3 hours duration. As per the ASSO CET 2016 exam pattern, the question booklet of ASSO CET 2016 will have 200 MCQ from Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects. There will be 50 questions from Physics and Chemistry and Biology section will have 100 questions based on the syllabus prescribed by the examination authority.

Going by previous All India cut offs and your rank, you may decent chances in Medical Colleges like:

Yes, according to the UP PG medical admission eligibility criteria a candidate who have passed their under graduation  outside UP and is not a resident of UP are also eligible to get admission in private colleges in UP.Candidates must qualify NEET PG with minimum cut off marks.
