ASSO CET PG Medical 2016 Eligibility Criteria- Candidates who are applying for ASSO CET PG Medical 2016 need to fulfill the eligibility criteria as specified by the exam conducting authority, i.e Association of Management of Unaided Private Medical and Dental colleges , Maharashtra. ASSO CET PG Medical 2016 is a gateway examination for seeking admissions to MD/MS and MDS programmes in the medical and dental colleges of under AMUPMDC.

 

Latest: Following an order of the Hon’ble High Court, AMUPMDC had not conducted Asso PG CET 2016 on February 14. The exam conducting body has also announced that the intimation regarding conduct of ASSO PG CET 2016 will be carried on as soon as any orders are passed by the Supreme Court.

Candidates who wish to apply for ASSO CET PG Medical 2016 must read the below mentioned eligibility criteria carefully. The online application forms has been released on February 5, 2016.

 

Important highlights of ASSO CET PG Medical 2016 Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates must have passed the MBBS/BDS examination from a university recognized by Medical Council of India and Dental Council of India respectively

  • Candidates must have obtained the full registration from Medical Council of India or Dental Council of India

  • Candidates must have completed the rotating internship certificate on or before March 31, 2016

  • Candidates who will complete their rotating internship before March 31, 2016 should submit the documentary proof from Principal/Dean of the College regarding the latest date of completing their internship

  • Candidates who have completed PG Diploma  are eligible to appear for admission in PG Degree in the same subject only

Candidates who are not eligible to appear in ASSO CET PG Medical 2016 are as follows:

  • Candidates who have already registered/perusing/completed the course are not eligible to appear in the entrance exam for both Medical and Dental admissions

  • Candidates who will not completed their rotating internship on or before March 31, 2016 are not eligible

  • Candidates who had already registered and have not completed the course are not eligible for admissions

Note:  Candidates who have not obtained permanent Medical council of India or Dental Council of India registration at the time of submission of application form along with those candidates who will be completing their internship latest by March 31, 2016, such candidates will have to submit it by May 2, 2016

ASSO CET PG Medical 2016 also known as AMUPMDC PG 2016 is scheduled to be conducted on February 14, 2016.  Through the exam; admissions to 251 MDS programme in the 15 Dental colleges and 61 MD/MS seats in 4 Medical colleges of Maharashtra

 

The result of ASSO CET PG Medical 2016 will be released in the form of merit list. The merit will consist of candidate’s name, candidate’s merit rank and marks scored in the entrance exam. The result cum merit list of ASSO CET PG Medical 2016 is scheduled to be released in the month of February, 2016.

The NEET PG 2020 eligibility criteria for aspirants appearing in the postgraduate medical examination has been listed below.

Candidates must possess a valid MBBS degree from an institution recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI), and have an MBBS degree or provisional certificate to that effect.
Completion of the rotatory internship on or before March 31, 2020.
Provisional or permanent medical registration certificate issued by MCI or a State Medical Council. This must be carried on the day of the exam and during admission.
Candidates who have studied/qualified MBBS from Jammu & Kashmir are not eligible for All India 50% Quota seats. Only candidates who were nominated by the Government of India (under central pool seats) to study MBBS from Medical Colleges in Jammu & Kashmir shall be eligible for All India 50% quota seats. Such candidates must submit a duly signed affidavit declaring this.

Dear Sreenivasan, NBE hasn't released NEET PG official notification and schedule yet. As of now, all we have is a tentative schedule. The official notification will be released tentatively during the 1st or 2nd weeks of November. To be eligible for NEET PG, you should be able to complete your 1 year Mandatory Internship ateast by March 31st,  2020. how many phsically handicapped seats qouta in M.D.S in government Colleges .........in neet pg M.D.S

hello aspirant,

there are total 1352 seats are available in government colleges in india for M.D.S. however as per the rules of government of india 3% seats are reserve for physically handicapped candidate, (only for physically handicapped with the locomotory disorders and that too with disability of lower limbs between 50% to 70% as per MCI regulation) . so total 40 seats are for physically handicapped.

You will be happy to know that there's no minimum percentage which needs to be obtained by medical graduates to be eligible for neet pg . To be eligible  for neet pg  medical graduates are required to possess Indian Medical Council Act 1956 recognised MBBS degree or Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate. Candidates are required to mandatorily have permanent or provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification which is to be issued by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council (SMC) and candidate must complete their one year internship on or before March 31, 2020 to be eligible for Neet pg 2020. when I open any college profile, there is written - (Exams accepted Neet UG,Neet PG. etc) what does that mean?

Dear Utsav, that actually means the College in particular has MBBS, MD,MS courses and the admissions to these courses are through NEET UG, NEET PG,etc. Apart from MBBS, courses like BDS, Ayush, Veterinary sciences also conduct admissions through NEET. In some States, courses like Physiotherapy, Occupational therapy also accept NEET score. So, if you are searching for any Medical College, this information showing up is pretty normal.
