ASSO CET PG Medical 2016 Exam Pattern- The exam pattern of ASSO CET PG Medical 2016 has been declared by the exam conducting authority, i.e. Association of Management of Unaided Private Medical and Dental colleges, Maharashtra. The pattern of the exam helps candidate to get familiarize with the syllabus, number of question, marking scheme, difficulty level of the exam. Candidates who wish to apply for ASSO CET PG Medical 2016 are advised to check the eligibility criteria before filling up the application form. ASSO CET PG Medical 2016 is scheduled to be conducted on February 14, 2016 for admissions to MD/MS/MDS programme in the medical and dental colleges of Mahasrashtra.
Latest: Following an order of the Hon’ble High Court, AMUPMDC had not conducted Asso PG CET 2016 on February 14. The exam conducting body has also announced that the intimation regarding conduct of ASSO PG CET 2016 will be carried on as soon as any orders are passed by the Supreme Court.

Exam medium: The examination will be conducted in English medium only.
Exam mode: ASSO CET PG Medical 2016 is a pen and paper based exam. Candidates have to mark their answers in the OMR sheets provided.
ASSO CET PG Medical 2016 Examination Scheme: The examination is divided into two parts. There will a separate examination for Medical and dental programmes.
Exam Pattern for Medical candidates:
The exam will consist of 300 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
The exam will be of MBBS standard and will cover all the subjects of MBBS course
The duration of the exam is three and half hours
Each correct answer will be given one mark
There is no system of negative marking
No marks will be given for scratching, over writing or multiple answer
Exam Pattern for Dental candidates:
The exam will consist of 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
The exam will be of BDS standard and will cover all the subjects of BDS course
The duration of the exam is one and half hours
Each correct answer will fetch candidates one mark
There will be not be any negative marking
Multiple answers of a single question will not be given any marks

ASSO CET PG Medical 2016 is a pre requisite examination conducted by Association of Management of Unaided Private Medical and Dental colleges (AMUPMDC), for admissions to MD/MS/MDS programme in the state of Maharashtra. Dear Utsav, that actually means the College in particular has MBBS, MD,MS courses and the admissions to these courses are through NEET UG, NEET PG,etc. Apart from MBBS, courses like BDS, Ayush, Veterinary sciences also conduct admissions through NEET. Dear Priya, there is no upper age limit for appearing for NEET PG and also there is no cap on the number of times one can appear for NEET PG. As long as you fulfil the eligibility crtieria, you are eligible to appear for NEET PG. Having said that, with amendments to NMC Bill, in the next 3 years, NEET PG may be scrapped. Dear Shyam, there is no upper age limit for appearing for NEET PG. You haven't mentioned your highest qualification. But for being eligible for NEET PG, you should have completed your MBBS along with 1 year mandatory rotational internship. You can check the complete eligibility criteria here:
Now regarding PCPNDT, if you are a registered practitioner, you can undertake this 6 months training. So, if you fulfil the NEET PG eligibility criteria, you can appear for NEET PG and your age shall not be any hindrance.
