Candidates seeking admission to BHU Medical Admission 2015 must fulfill the below mentioned eligibility criteria as prescribed in the BHU Medical Admission 2015 notification:
Candidates should attain the age of 17 years or more on 31-12-2015. The age shall be determined as per entry in the Matriculation/Secondary school or its equivalent examination certificate
Must have passed Senior School Certificate Examination (10+2) of Board of School Education or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto with at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together and must have also passed the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually ( 40% marks in case of SC/ BC and SBC) and (45% marks in case of Physically Handicapped
The candidate must have been placed in the merit list prepared for BHU Medical Admission 2015 as a result of the All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Test – 2015by securing not less than 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology taken together in the competitive examination (40% marks in case of SC/BC & SBC instead of 50% for General Candidates). Further for persons with locomotory disability of lower limbs, the minimum of 45% for Gen-PH and 40% for SC-PH/BC-PH & SBC-PH are required.
No candidate who has failed to obtain the minimum eligibility marks as above shall be eligible for admission to MBBS/BDS courses.
Candidates will be shortlisted for BHU Medical Admission 2015 Counselling on the basis of AIPMT 2015 score. Admission to the BHU MBBS and BDS course for the academic session 2015 will be based on AIPMT 2015 score and rank. Only those candidates are eligible for admission to BHU Medical Admission 2015 who has 50% marks and above in AIPMT 2015. However, in respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Classes, the minimum marks shall be 40%.

Yes. According to the new criteria all students who want to appear for MBBS have to appear for NEET and there will be no separate tests for AIIMS and JIPMER. Admission in both the Institutions will be on the baiss of NEET score only. So the news you have heard is absolutely true.
