BHU PG Medical Admission 2020 - Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on behalf of Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct the counselling for BHU PG medical 2020 admission in the second week of March 2020. In order to admission to BHU PG medical candidates will have to fill the application form. BHU institute of medical sciences offers 134 seats in 22 specialities in BHU PG medical admission. The seats fall under the category of All India Quota (AIQ) and BHU internal quota. Depending on the eligibility, candidates are required to participate in the online counselling process. Since BHU is a Central University, admission to all the seats will be done through BHU PG medical counselling conducted by MCC. Total three rounds of counselling will be conducted which includes a mop-up round in the end. The mop round will be conducted only for seats left vacant in the Central/Deemed University and ESIC colleges. Candidates who have been allotted seat in any particular round of BHU PG medical counselling will be required to report at the designated college along with the relevant documents in original to complete the admission process.

In order to get admission to BHU PG medical 2020, candidates must fulfil the basic eligibility criteria laid down by the admission authority. Candidates can check the eligibility criteria below.
Candidates who have completed the MBBS from IMS, BHU will be eligible for 84 Internal Quota seats.
Candidates qualifying NEET PG, irrespective of the college from where MBBS was completed will be eligible for the rest of seats offered in BHU PG medical 2020 admission.
All candidates must qualify with the qualifying percentile which 50th percentile for General category, 40th percentile for reserved category candidates and 45th percentile for PWD candidates.
BHU PG medical aspirants must complete a one-year compulsory rotatory internship by March 31, 2020.
Those candidates who are already enrolled in other MD/MS and PG diploma program in any other institute cannot apply for BHU PG medical admission 2020.
Candidates who wish to pursue MD/MS course in BHU will be required to fill the online application form which will be released in the second week of March 2020. The registration for BHU PG medical admission will be facilitated on the official website of MCC. Candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 1,000 or Rs 500 for General and reserved category candidates respectively. BHU does not release its own application form. Candidates who are applying for AIQ seats or internal quota seats will have to fill the same BHU PG medical 2020 application form. The substantiating documents do not need to be uploaded along with the application as it will be verified at the time of reporting at the IMS, BHU.
After the conclusion of registration process, a seat allotment list will be released which will also be the merit list of BHU PG medical 2020. Candidates whose name has been enlisted in the BHU PG medical 2020 merit list will be eligible for the further admission process. The seat allotment list will mention the name of the candidates, allotted category, NEET PG 2020 rank and the name of the college allotted.
MCC will conduct the BHU PG 2020 medical counselling for the registered candidates in online mode. Since it is an online counselling, candidates will be required to give web options of speciality and the college of choice. Based on the preferences given by the candidates, availability of seats and NEET PG 2020 rank the seat allotment will be done. MCC will conduct three rounds of BHU PG medical 2020 counselling. For the residual seats, a mop round will be organised after the first and second round. At the end of each round of counselling, a seat allotment list will be released. The candidates whose name appear on the seat allotment list will be required to report at the designated college along with the relevant documents. After the second round, candidates who have been allotted seat will not be allowed to vacate the seat without the forfeiture of refundable tuition fee.
