To appear in BVP CET MBBS 2016, an aspirant should have passed HSC or Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE) or any other examination equivalent to 10+2/HSC from any recognized Board/ University in India with subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English. Aspiring candidates please make note that they must have obtained at least 50% (for SC / ST candidates - 40%) marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology taken together in the qualifying examination or equivalent.
The BVP CET Medical 2016 is a pen and paper based written exam that will consist of single paper carrying 200 MCQs on Physics (50), Chemistry (50) and Biology (100). Aspirants will be allowed 3 Hours to complete the test.

Yes. According to the new criteria all students who want to appear for MBBS have to appear for NEET and there will be no separate tests for AIIMS and JIPMER. Admission in both the Institutions will be on the baiss of NEET score only. So the news you have heard is absolutely true.
