CG PMT 2016 Eligibility Criteria: Candidates who applied to CG PMT 2016 were advised to read the eligibility criteria as declared by the exam conducting authority, i.e. Chhattisgarh Directorate of Medical Education (CGDME). CG PMT 2016 is a gateway exam for seeking admissions MBBS and BDS seats in the state of Chattisgrah. The entrance exam, CG PMT 2016 was conducted on June 15, 2016.

Important highlights of CG PMT 2016 Eligibility Criteria are mentioned below:
Candidates must be 17 years of age as on December 31, 2016
Candidate must be an Indian National and a permanent resident of Chhattisgarh
Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology as main subject
Candidates who are awaiting for their 10+2 or equivalent examination results can also appear for the entrance examination
Candidates belonging to General Category must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in Class XII examination
Candidates belonging to reserved categories and physically handicapped candidates of general category must have secured a total of 40% and 45% respectively in 10+2 or equivalent examination
Note: Notwithstanding the CG PMT 2016 eligibility criteria mentioned as above, if any changes affected by the Competent Regulatory Authority shall be accepted.
CG PMT 2016 will continue to be gateway for admission to state medical colleges in the admission year 2016. The exam, which earlier stood cancelled as per the Supreme Court order on May 9, 2016, again comes into effect after the Centre brought an ordinance on NEET, which put state entrance tests out of NEET ambit for 2016 admission year. However, NEET phase 2, applicable for admissions to 15 per cent all India quota in government colleges; and private and deemed institutions, is still open for all.
