Chandigarh MBBS Admission 2019 - Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Questions 1: Do I have to qualify in NEET 2019 for admission to MBBS/BDS courses?

Answer: Yes, admission will be done based on NEET 2019 rank/merit only. Also, no separate entrance exam will be conducted for admission.

Question 2: Will I get a seat if I have qualified NEET 2019?
Answer: Simply qualifying NEET 2019 is no guarantee of admission, as the admission conducting body will prepare category-wise merit lists. If you are listed in any of these lists, then your chances of admission are very good. You then will only have to successfully get your documents verified and complete other admission formalities.

Question 3: What will happen if I don’t attend the counselling session?

Answer: If you miss first counselling round, you will not be considered for seat allotment in that round. But you still can participate in the second round, provided you report in person for counselling. However, if you miss the second round as well, you may be out of the admission process altogether.

Is neet 2020 becomes difficult..?? As aiims and jipmer colleges given on the basis of neet scores.. Plz reply me

Aditya kumar Student Expert 21st Oct, 2019
Hello there!
Greetings!
No , Neet has not become difficult as its pattern is still the same , it will still wave 180 mcqs , 90 from biology, 45 from Physics and 45 from Chemistry . Also , if its  pattern is changed, NTA will notify about this in advance but chances for change in pattern is very low. And , yes now admission in all the medical colleges of India including all the aiims and Jipmer will be based on the marks scored in neet , so , you need to prepare well for it.

Thankyou

Hello there!
Greetings!
You don't need to panic if you are 16 years now i.e. in October 2019, as to be eligible for Neet 2020 on needs to be at least 17 years by 31st December 2020, so now if in October 2019 you are 16 year old then in October 2020 , you will be 17 years old and thus you are eligible for neet 2020. But in case if you don't turn 17 years old by 31st December 2020 then you are not eligible for neet 2020.

Ashish pal Student Expert 21st Oct, 2019

Hello dear aspirant .

To be honest I think you will be well aware of the fact that following time table on regular basis is a very tough task. It will be much better if you concentrate on practice paper and test serieses as much as you can.

Try to solve 1or 2 sample papers daily.

It will help you very much.

Good luck
