CMC Vellore MBBS 2015- Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore has announced admissions to undergraduate MBBS programme in the college for as many as 100 seats in CMC Vellore out of which not less than 42 seats are for female candidates. CMC Vellore MBBS 2015 entrance exam is scheduled to be held in two stages, the first stage of the exam has been conducted on May 23, 2015 and the second stage is scheduled to be held from June 15 to 17, 2015.

CMC Vellore MBBS 2015 Eligibility Criteria: Important highlights of CMC Vellore MBBS 2015 exam are listed below:

  • Candidates should have passed in all subjects of the qualifying examination of the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (Academic) conducted by the Tamil Nadu State Board or any other equivalent Board
  • Candidate must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English in Higher Secondary Examination
  • Candidates must have secured 60% marks in total aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Biology (or Botany and Zoology taken together)
  • Candidates must have an aggregate of 140/200 in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects, both at qualifying and competitive examinations and must have passed in English subject

Age Limit: Candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on before 31st December 2015.

CMC Vellore MBBS 2015 Exam Pattern:
CMC Vellore MBBS 2015 Entrance Exam shall be conducted in two steps:

CMC Vellore MBBS 2015 Step one:
CMC Vellore MBBS 2015 Computer Based Exam:

  • Computer Based Test consisting of Multiple Choice Questions conducted in English Medium
  • The Question Paper Booklet of CMC Vellore MBBS 2015 will consist of 60 questions each in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subject

CMC Vellore MBBS 2015 Step two: Candidates clearing step one of the CMC Vellore MBBS 2015 exam will be appearing for the step two process of the entrance exam:

  • CMC Vellore MBBS 2015 Step two exam will consist of 120 questions on General Ability
  • Questions of this step two entrance exam will assess candidates Speed, Accuracy and Knowledge on Current Events
  • This General Ability exam will consist of two sections where;

Section 1 will have 60 questions which has to be answered in 50 minutes

Section 2 will have 60 questions which has to be answered in 20 minutes

  • There will not be any system of Negative Marking


CMC Vellore MBBS 2015 Application Procedure: CMC Vellore MBBS 2015 Application Procedure is scheduled to be commenced from February 18, 2015.  CMC Vellore MBBS 2015 Application form will be filled online and has to submitted  along with requisite documents on or before the scheduled dates. The cost of application form is Rs.800 which has can be paid through Demand Draft/Bank Challan/Credit Card/Debit Card. The last date to fill in the online applications is March 26, 2015

Hello dear student,
It's all in our head to be very honest if you will study for Neet now also then also you can get really very good marks and you can qualify Neet with flying colours. It's just that whatsoever you want to study and you are preparing you should prepare it with full concentration that will help you to score good marks. When you make a plan of a day and you choose some topic that you go going to study today of the day you are studying so make a habit of solving around 50 MCQs of a single topic so that it broaden up your mind about the questions that can be asked in the exam. And after this it's better if you solve previous year questions as is it gives you an idea what sort of questions are important and what kind of question can come in exam that really helps. I have 4 year gap between 10th and 12th(nios) will my neet form will be accepted or not

Hello there!
No , there will be no problem , you are eligible for neet even if you have 4 year gaps between your 10th and 12th as to be eligible for Neet the condition is that a general category student needs to have passed class 12th with 50 % in pcb aggregate,  while it's 40% for obc , sc, st.  So , if you fulfil this with criteria then you are eligible for neet,  also there's no upper age limit for neet so you don't need to worry about that as well.
Prepare well for neet.

since neet is only one exam for medical so will it be twice a year??

Dear Aspirant,

According to last year statistics, a home-general candidate get into Maulana Azad Medical College with around 586 marks in NEET-UG. However, these trends are subjected to change over the years. For General candidate 580+ marks are needed to ensure a seat in MAMC. For OBC you might expect the bracket to go down by 5-10 marks. The opening and closing AIR for OBC last year was 32 and 112 respectively.

However, this year with the inclusion of AIIMS and JIPMER, there may be some changes in the required marks. Try for 570 though, that will be enough.
