COMEDK UGET Medical 2014 exam was conducted on May 11, 2014 at 134 centres, of which 97 are in Bangalore and the remaining in other parts of Karnataka. According to candidates, the exam was moderate in terms of difficulty level with most candidates finding Physics to be toughest among the three sections and Biology the easiest.


Punnet Ayier who took COMEDK UGET Medical 2014 exam from Bangalore found difficulty level of the exam to be moderate. “I was nervous before the exam but after going through the question paper I was relaxed. I found Biology to be the easiest among Physics, Chemistry and English. Most of the questions in the Biology section were from NCERT 10+2 syllabus. I found Physics to be the toughest among the three subjects” he said.


However, Physics was hard-hitting for most of the candidates who appeared in COMEK UGET Medical 2014 entrance exam. Ajit Kumar, who appeared from Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management Mangalore, said “Physics was tough for me. I attempted a good number of questions from Biology, Chemistry and English, and I am eagerly waiting for COMEDK UGET Medical 2014 answer key so that I can compare my attempted answers”.

According to COMEDK UGET 2014 prospectus, candidates who have any doubts related to COMEDK UGET Medical 2014 answer key can submit their representation indicating the grievance with all necessary enclosures in a prescribed format. Clarification regarding provisional answer key should reach COMEDK office by speed post / courier by May 14, 2014 along with a Demand Draft of Rs.300 per clarification. 


COMEDK UGET Medical 2014 entrance exam paper carried 240 questions from 4 different sections. Each section of Physics and Chemistry, Biology and English carried 60 questions. 1 mark is allotted for each correct answer and there is no negative marking for wrong answer.


According to a COMEDK official, “As many as 96,100 candidates had taken test across the state. Of the total number of candidates, 45,235 appeared for medical (PCB – Physics, Chemistry and Biology) and 12,570 for medical as well as engineering (PCMB).” The COMEDK UGET Medical 2014 result will be declared on June 4, 2014.

Based on the COMEDK UGET Medical 2014 cutoff score candidates will be called for COMEK UGET Medical 2014 counselling. The counselling of COMEK UGET medical 2014 will be conducted in two rounds. The First Round of COMEDK UGET Medical 2014 Counselingis scheduled from June 13 to June 29, 2014 and Second and the Last Round of Counseling is scheduled from July 8 to July 18, 2014.


As per the COMEDK information, this year 5000 more medical application was received as compared with last year.  In COMEDK UGET 2014 exam, 56 per cent of the total applicants were from south India (including Karnataka), 24.5 per cent from east India, 13.5 per cent from the north and 6 per cent from the west. Candidates from Karnataka constitute 27 per cent of the total number of applicants.

is comedk and upsee exam date clash on 10 may 2020?

Hello Aspirant,

Yes , the dates for COMEDK 2020 and UPSEE 2020 are clashing on Sunday 10th May 2020. However, there have been no information about changing the dates from the either side i.e. UPSEE or COMEDK. I hope they solve this problem at the earliest as thousands of students appear for both the exams.

If there is a change in schedule of either of the exams , we'll inform you at the earliest.

can I change exam centre for 2 nd option

Dear Aspirant,

If you're talking about JEE then yes, you can change the exam centre. For JEE Mains 2020 the correction window will open on 8th March and will close on 12th of March. You can make the changes in this time interval. After these days are over, no corrections are allowed.

You cannot change your exam centre now.
There is no facility for corrections in selection of exam centres in COMEDK application form.
Although COMEDK offers correction facility but you cannot do changes in following category during the time.

Is mbbs is Available in 2020 ,if there how can i apply for mbbs in comedk???

Yes, MBBS is available in 2020 but not through COMEDK. For MBBS the only entrance exam is NEET.

COMEDK UGET 2020  is an exam conducted by Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) for admission to B.E/B.Tech/B.Arch courses.  It is not for MBBS.


pl tell me last year how many students appeared in VITEEE, SRMJEE ,BITSAT OR COMEDK?

Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT) is a University level entrance exam in which approx 2 lakhs candidates appear every year.

Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) is an entrance exam conducted for admission in B.Tech across for all its campuses at Vellore and Chennai as well as the universities in Amravati and Bhopal and every year around 2-3 lakhs candidates appear for this exam.

SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination or SRMJEEE is conducted by SRM Institute of Science and Technology for admission to B.Tech programmes offered by the institute and nearly 1.5 - 2 lakhs candidate appear this exam every year.

COMEDK UGET is a state-level exam conducted by the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) for admission to undergraduate engineering courses at around 190 engineering colleges in the state of Karnataka and around 70,000 students appear for this exam every year.
