Is there any change in ta seats selection in neet 2020

Ronak Gala Student Expert 16th Oct, 2019

Yes there are some changes in the seats selection from the NEET 2020.

  • AIIMS, JIPMER and all the medical entrance exams are merged into a common exam NEET so as to increase uniformity and same level of competition for all the students.
  • The exam may be conducted twice in 2020 in February and May sessions. However, there is no official notification released by the exam conducting authority regarding the same.
  • The 10 per cent reservation for the Economically Weaker section will not be applicable in NEET 2020.

Is there any change in NEET 2020 exam pattern, question pattern, marking scheme, syllabus etc after cancellation of AIIMS & JIPMER???

Aditya kumar Student Expert 16th Oct, 2019
Hello there!
Greetings!
No , there's no change in the pattern of neet. Neet will have the same pattern, it will still have 3 sections. Physics section will have 45 mcqs , Chemistry will have 45 mcqs as well while biology will have 90 mcqs. Each question will carry 4 marks, 1 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer and 0 marks for questions not attempted. Even if changes are brought in the pattern ,nta will officially notify about it in advance, but chances for change in the pattern is negligible.   So , you don't need to worry, just prepare well. Good luck
thankyou

Which the best objective book should follow to crack NEET 2020

Apurv 16th Oct, 2019

Hello Sreelakshmi, there is no book which would gaurantee you a seat in NEET but i can provide you some of the famous books for your preparation. Don't prepare from multiple books but only one book to avoid confusion.

Trueman's/MTG fingertips/master in biology (arihant) for Biology. HCV/Arihant/MTG for physics. Don't go for high quality books like cengage and irodov because those are better suited for JEE. USS, GRB/MTG and arihant publications for chemistry.

Apurv 16th Oct, 2019

Hello Achintya, Sorry to say but the cutoffs for next year NEET can't be known at this time. The cutoffs are only available after the exam is conducted and the counselling process is finished. After the end of counselling process, the cutoffs are released by individual colleges. You can also know the cutoffs of particular rounds just after they are finished.
