DNB CET 2016 Eligibility
DNB CET 2016 Eligibility - DNB CET 2016 is a national level entrance exam conducted by National Board of Examinations (NBE) twice a year (January & July session) for admission to Post Graduate courses including Direct 6 year’s course in various specialty. Candidates are advised to read the eligibility criteria before applying for DNB CET 2016. According to officials, DNB CET 2016 eligibility criteria for January and July sessions are different therefore candidates must go through the eligibility criteria before filling up the application form.
DNB CET applicants must have completed their MBBS 2016 degree and obtained registration from Medical Council of India after completing their compulsory rotating internship are eligible for applying for DNB CET 2016.
Admission to candidates in DNB CET 2016 programmes will be done only after fulfilment of eligibility criteria as asked by the examination authority. The application form of DNB CET 2016 for January session has begun from September 16, 2015. The last date to fill the online applications for the January session is October 22,2015.
The highlights of DNB CET 2016 eligibility criteria are mentioned below:
Candidate must possess a MBBS degree from a recognized university by Medical Council of India if they are seeking an admission to programmes through DNB CET 2016
For January Session: Candidate must have completed their 12 Months rotating internship/practical training on or before January 31, 2016 if they are applying for DNB CET 2016 for January session
For July Session: Candidate must have completed the required 12 Months rotating internship/practical training on or before July 31, 2016 if they are applying DNB CET 2016 for July session
Candidates who are completing their internship after the above mentioned date are not eligible for appearing in DNB CET 2016
Candidates already pursuing a DNB CET course are not eligible to appear for the DNB CET 2016 till they have completed the entire duration of the prescribed course or have been discharged from the course
Registration with MCI/State Medical Council is necessary and its documentary proof has to be furnished at the time of counselling and on the testing day
DNB CET 2016 will be conducted for as many 748 seats in approximately 30 disciplines of higher studies in medical speciality courses. DNB CET 2016 for the January session is scheduled to be held from November 28, 2015 to December 1, 2015 at various alloted centres.The holders of Board’s qualification awarded after an examination i.e. DNB CET are eligible to be considered for specialist’s post/faculty in any Hospital including a training/teaching institution on a teaching post/as a faculty member. Diplomate National Board qualifications are well recognized and accepted as high standard specialist qualifications
