Questions related to FMGE
Hi everyone , i am a foreign medical graduate, i have passed my 12th with biology additional, like i got two marksheet, one for pcm and for only biology . can i get eligibility certificate for fmge ? anyone there to help please !
FMGE has no restrictions per se regarding the mark sheets. What is important is you complete your primary Medical Educational Qualification from a recognised University and then have the required documents which are evidence of your Medical qualification. So your 12th marks lists with Biology as an additional marks sheet should not be a problem at all. Nevertheless, to confirm the same, please mail NBE at their helpdesk at: firstname.lastname@example.org (mailto:email@example.com) . They can help you with relevant information. But ideally this should not be a problem because for FMGE, the focus is on your Medical Degree and Qualification and not on your 12th.
hi, Id like to know how FMGE works as in, what happens if and when one passes the exam? thank you so much. Im a littlw unaware of the process
see fmge exam is conducts by national board of examination i.e NBE india. this is basically a registration exam which conducts by the nbe for students of India who have done mbbs courses from foreign medical colleges. now coming to the schedule of the exam it happens two times a year, i.e June and December sessions. eligibility criteria for appearing in fmge exam is,
Applicants must be either an Indian national or Overseas Citizen of India (OCI).
The candidates should have the necessary primary medical qualification and must obtain their MBBS degree before the mentioned period for a particular session. The MBBS degree of the FMGs must be awarded by institutions included in the World Directory of Medical Schools which is listed by World Health Organization (WHO) or an institution duly attested by the India embassy concerned for the candidates to be recognized as medical practitioners in India.
you must have all the documents which is needed to seat for fmge exam.
Candidates with a postgraduate medical degree obtained in the countries of Canada, Australia, United Kingdom, New Zealand and the United States of America need not appear in FMGE 2019 screening test as they can directly register with MCI/SMC.
now after clearing the fmge exam you would get a qualifying certificate from National Board of Examinations, which is used to temporary registration with the Medical Council of India. The next step would require the candidate to register with the concerned State Medical Council with required documents like xerox copy of fmge marksheet , mbbs pass certificate issued by competent authority etc.
After writing your FMGE exam, you could visit the http://www.mciindia.org website to see the list of hospitals approved for candidates to do their compulsory internship.
for fmge student there is no state quota in neet pg , is there any use of category quota for them ?
Maximum state doesn't provide state quota to FMGE.
But Chhatisgarh provide quota to FMGE candidate if he /she hold domicile of that state.
