FMGE 2019 - National Board of Examinations (NBE) conducts Foreign Medical Graduate Examination - FMGE screening test for Indian and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) to obtain a provisional or permanent registration with Medical Council of India (MCI) or any State Medical Council. NBE will conduct the FMGE 2019 exam on June 28, in computer based mode, for Indian nationals with foreign medical qualification to practice in the country. NBE has released an official notification for the successfully registered candidates that they can edit the details in the application form of FMGE 2019 June session from May 10 to 12, 2019, till 12:00 PM. Only the name of candidate, mobile number, email ID and testing city cannot be edited after the registration for FMGE 2019. The examination authority had started FMGE registration 2019 for June session on April 15. Only candidates who will successfully fulfill the eligibility criteria of FMGE 2019 will be allowed to register online for the screening test. As per the eligibility conditions, the medical aspirants must possess a primary medical qualification confirmed by the Indian Embassy of the particular country. FMGE is an evaluate exam which is conducted twice a year in December and June session.

FMGE 2019 admit card will be issued by June 21, for aspirants whose application forms will be accepted by the authority. It is mandatory to carry the hall ticket to the FMGE exam centre 2019 along with other relevant documents for verification purpose. FMGE 2019 June session is an online test divided into two parts - Part A and Part B. Each part contains 150 questions and only 150 minutes will be allotted to complete the FMGE June session.

Candidates securing 150 marks out of 300 will be included in the FMGE result 2019. The result will be displayed in the form of PDF file mentioning the roll number, scores (out of 300) and qualifying status of candidate. The pass certificate of FMGE June 2019 will be issued to the qualified aspirants as per the specified dates. Last year, a total of 9274 candidates appeared for FMGE June session. FMGE June 2019 Application Form released

The application form of FMGE 2019 for June session has been released on April 15. Candidates can complete their registrations till May 6, 2019. Along with the application form, the information brochure has also been released for Foreign Medical Graduate Examination. This year, Jaipur is a new exam city added replacing Sikar.

FMGE Eligibility Criteria 2019

The eligibility criteria of FMGE 2019 must be fulfilled by aspirants to register for the screening test. Candidates can go through the FMGE 2019 eligibility criteria as mentioned below.

  • He/she must be an Indian citizen or Overseas Citizen of India.

  • In order to fulfill the FMGE eligibility criteria, aspirants must possess the primary medical qualification confirmed by the Indian Embassy concerned. It is required to be a recognized qualification of candidates to be enrolled as a medical practitioner of a particular country where the institute is situated.

  • It is mandatory to provide the documents/proofs in support of an aspirant having passed the final examination. These documents must be submitted on or before May 31, 2019. If anyone forget to furnish the relevant documents their candidature will be cancelled.

  • Aspirants who have completed their undergraduate medical education from Australia, Canada, New Zealand, United Kingdom, United States of America will not be required to appear for FMGE 2019 exam, as they are recognised for enrolment as a medical practitioner in the country.

  • To appear for the Foreign Graduate Medical Examination, undergraduate candidates should meet the above mentioned eligibility criteria.

After the submission of application form, a mail will send to the registered email ID. Candidates will be required to acknowledge the mail and send the requisite documents to NBE before the specified date.

FMGE Admit Card 2019

The admit card of FMGE 2019 will be made available in the first week of June. Aspirants whose application forms will be accepted by the authority can download the FMGE 2019 admit card in online mode. NBE will also send an email regarding the availability of FMGE hall ticket 2019 and will also intimate via SMS. In order to download the admit card, candidates can click on the link which will be provided on this page and submit their user ID and password. The admit card will display the name of candidates, date as well as time of exam, address of allotted exam centre and other details. It is mandatory to carry the FMGE June 2019 hall ticket along with any of the following ID proofs to the designated exam centres.

  • Aadhaar Card (with photograph)

FMGE Practice Test 2019

The registered aspirants will be provided with a facility of practice test of FMGE 2019 by NBE. With the help of this FMGE demo test 2019, candidates will be familiar with the format of online exam. The option to avail the facility of practice test will be provided on this page, when available. Only such aspirants whose application form has been submitted successfully can use the FMGE practice test 2019 using their testing IDs. Using the demo test, applicants will be able to understand the structure of FMGE 2019 June session, therefore, they must pay attention to the screen and navigation while taking the practice test.

FMGE Result 2019

The result of FMGE 2019 for June session will be announced in the third week of July. FMGE 2019 result will be released in the form of PDF mentioning the roll number of aspirants, marks obtained out of 300 and qualifying status. The link to download the merit list will be available on this page, as soon as it will be released.

Candidates who will qualify FMGE 2019 June session will be allowed to download the score card by using the required credentials. It is important to carry the relevant the score card along with the mandatory documents to obtain the pass certificate from the concerned authorities.

FMGE Qualifying Marks 2019

The applicants must secure the qualifying marks of FMGE 2019 as prescribed by NBE. In order to qualify FMGE 2019 June session, candidates must obtain at least 150 marks out of 300. S/he who will qualify the screening test will be considered eligible to be issued the provisional or permanent registration from Medical Council of India and State Medical Council.

About FMGE Screening Test

Foreign Medical Graduate Examination - FMGE was made mandatory through Screening Test Regulations 2002, to assess the knowledge of medical graduates. The medical regulation states, “An Indian citizen/Overseas citizen of India possessing a primary medical qualification awarded by any medical institution outside India who is desirous of getting provisional or permanent registration with Medical Council of India or any State Medical Council on or after 15.03.2002 shall have to qualify a screening test conducted by the prescribed authority for that purpose as per the provisions of section 13 of the Act.”
