GCET Medical 2016 Cut Off- The cut off score is the minimum qualifying marks must be secured by the candidates in the entrance exam. The cut off score depends on the various factors such as number of seats, number of applicants, difficulty level of the entrance exam etc. The exam conducting authority, Directorate of Technical Education, Goa of GCET Medical 2016 has declared the cut off marks for the different categories. According to the official notification, in order to secure a seat in MBBS and BDS programme in Medical and Dental Colleges of Goa, candidates have to score a minimum qualifying mark as per their categories. Candidates belonging to General category have to score a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Likewise, candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories have to score minimum of 40% marks taken together in GCET Medical 2016.

As per the official notification, only those candidates will be considered as the qualified candidates, who will score a minimum of qualifying marks as per their categories. Based on the GCET Medical 2016 Cut off score, the examination conducting authority will declare the result for all the qualified candidates. The result of GCET Medical 2016 will be declared, tentatively, in the month of May, 2016.
GCET Medical 2016 is scheduled to be conducted on two consecutive days, i.e. May 10 and May 11, 2016. The state level entrance exam is being conducted for providing admissions to 128 MBBS and 34 BDS seats in Goa Medical and Dental Colleges of Bambolim, Goa.

Tanisha, it will code 02 if you belong to any other State except for Karnataka. Code 02 says: The Higher/Senior Secondary Examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination which is equivalent to 10+2 Higher/Senior Secondary Examination after a period of 12 years study, the last two years of such study comprising of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology (which shall include practical tests in these subjects) and Mathematics or any other elective subject with English at a level not less than the core course for English as prescribed by the National Council of Educational Research and Training after introduction of the 10+2+3 educational structure as recommended by the National Committee on Education.
But if you belong to Karnataka, your code will be 03.
NEET 2020 counselling will start from the third week of June.The counselling of NEET 2020 will be conducted entirely in online mode.Candidates willing to participate in the NEET counselling will be required to register online in the MCC website.Only those candidates who have qualified NEET 2020 with the minimum required percentile(minimum cutoff) will be eligible to participate in the counselling of NEET 2020.

At the time of Online application you just need to confirm your category. You need to submit EWS certificate at the time of counselling. In order to avail reservation, it is mandatory to produce the relevant certificates proving category. If it fails, you will not be eligible to claim reservation. So, better pls proceed with all actions to get the EWS certificates at the earliest. If any doubts, pls feel free ato ask.
