GCET Medical 2016 Eligibility Criteria- Directorate of Technical Education Goa, the exam conducting authority, has declared the eligibility criteria of the entrance examination. GCET Medical 2016 is a pre requisite examination for seeking admissions to MBBS and BDS seats in medical and dental colleges of Goa. This year, GCET Medical 2016 is scheduled to be conducted on two consecutive days, i.e. May 10 and 11, 2016.
Candidates, who are applying for GCET Medical 2016, are advised to read and get familiarize with the eligibility criteria before filling up the application forms. GCET Medical 2016 application forms are scheduled to be released, tentatively, in the month of January, 2016.
Important highlight of GCET Medical 2016 Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must be a domicile of Goa State
Nonresident Indians holding passport can also apply for the entrance examination under NRI category
Overseas citizens of India (OCI)/Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) can also apply for the entrance examination under NRI category
Candidates must have completed 17 years of age as on December 31, 2015 in order to become for admissions in MBBS and BDS programmes
Candidates must have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate (Class XII) examination of Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with English and secured not less than 50% marks in the aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) taken together
Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category have to secure a minimum of 40% marks in PCB in Class XII examination ,whereas, candidates belonging to Physically Handicapped (PH) category have to secure a minimum of 45% marks taken together in PCB in Class XII examination
Qualifying marks in the entrance examination, GCET Medical 2016:
Candidates, belonging to General category have to score a minimum of 50% marks in GCET Medical 2016
Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category have to score a minimum of 40% marks in the entrance examination, GCET Medical 2016
Candidates belonging to Physically Handicapped (PH) category have to score a minimum of 45% marks in GCET Medical 2016 in order to qualify the entrance examination
GCET Medical 2016 is a pen and paper based examination scheduled to be conducted on May 10 and 11, 2016 by the Directorate of Technical Education, Goa. GCET Medical 2016 is being conducted for admissions to as many as 128 MBBS seats and 34 BDS seats in Goa Medical & Dental College, Bambolim.
The result of GCET Medical 2016 has been declared on May 18, 2016. The result has been declared only for those candidates who will score a minimum of qualifying marks in the entrance exam as pre-determined for their respective category.

15 months are more than enough for you to get into your dream medical college. The most important thing you need is just be consistent throughout your journey. Prepare everyday and with a proper fixed time table.
You should also familiarize yourself with the syllabus and prepare with the pace which suits your need and do not depend upon your school's pace.
Then go through all the NCERT textbooks and if you can afford, then buy some coaching material or better you should join one coaching as it will help you with the consistency part.
