GCET Medical 2016 Syllabus: The entrance exam, GCET Medical 2016 will be based on the syllabus as prescribed by the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, for Class XII standard in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Candidates who are applying for GCET Medical 2016 are advised to go through the below mentioned syllabus thoroughly before filling up the application form.
Exam Syllabus: GCET Medical 2016 will be based on the syllabus as prescribed by the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Porvorim, for XIIth standard in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Exam Language: GCET Medical 2016 will be conducted in English language only.
Examination Scheme: GCET Medical 2016 is scheduled to be conducted on two consecutive days, i.e. May 10 and 11, 2016. Physics and Chemistry examination will be held on May 10, 2016, whereas, Biology examination will be held on the next day, May 11, 2016.
Examination Mode: The entrance examination GCET Medical 2016 will be a pen and paper based examination. Candidates will have to mark their answers in the OMR sheet.

All the three exam will consist of 75 multiple choice questions each
Time duration of the exam examination is two (2) hours

GCET Medical 2016 is a state level entrance exam, scheduled to be conducted on two consecutive days, i.e. May 10 and 11, 2016. BHU MBBS seats are filled by the DGHS on behalf of NMC. Once the NEET results have been declared, BHU will open its online registration form. You will have to enter your details like NEET score, Admit card no# and other additional details and submit the form by making the necessary payment. Private Medical Colleges do not participate in All India Counselling and the seats are filled through State Counselling alone. And for appearing for State Counselling you need to hold the domicile of that particular State. Or else the only other option is through Management Quota. Under All India Quota, All the 15% of All India Quota Seats except for Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, 100% Seats at Deemed and Central Universities, IP Quota seats in ESIC Colleges, Seats at AFMC are filled by DGHS. The 85% State Quota and Private Colleges are filled by the respective State Authorities. And there are 3 Categories in Private Medical Colleges. Category A is the Government Quota Seats. And only candidates of the home State are eligible to apply for these seats. B Category seats are also called Management Quota Seats and they are filled through State Counselling and the remaining seats are filled through direct Admissions by contacting the College directly. Here the fees is usually nothing less than 40 lakhs. The last Category is NRI seats Category and you cannot apply for that.
