IPU CET MBBS 2016 is a University level exam conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) for admission to around 264 MBBS seats in 3 medical colleges affiliated to the University.

Marking Scheme

  • For correct answer: +3 marks are given

  • For incorrect answer: 1 mark will be deducted for incorrect response

Syllabus

Based on the syllabus of 10 + 2 / 12th STD / 2nd PUC

 

Qualifying Marks

  • General Category 50%

  • Reserved Category 40%

 

  • IPU CET MBBS 2016 both stages (I & II) will be of 3 hours duration

  • The IPU CET MBBS 2016 exam will have One Question Paper in English medium

  • The Question Paper will have 200 objective type (multiple choices) questions from Physics, Chemistry, Botany & Zoology. Each question will be provided with four alternative answers marked as (1), (2), (3) and (4). Out of these, only one correct or most appropriate answer should be selected and marked on the OMR answer sheet

  • Each question will carry 3 marks, which will be awarded for each correct answer

  • There will be negative marking for incorrect answers. Incorrect answers will include both the 'wrong answers' as well as 'more than one answer to a question'. 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer in IPU CET MBBS 2016 exam

  • Candidates should bring a black ball point pen to the Examination Hall for writing/marking responses (darkening the ovals) on OMR answer sheet. Use of pencil is not allowed in IPU CET MBBS 2016

  • The request for re-checking, re-evaluation, re-assessment or scrutiny of IPU CET MBBS 2016 OMR answer sheet will be entertained

Can i join agbsc collage by writing NEET only ??And what are the cut off marks for it???

Hi Anita,

For a B.Sc. in Agriculture, you do not need to write NEET. The admission to this course, which basically focuses on agricultural sciences, is decided on the  basis of the candidates' score in AIEEA which is conducted by  the  Indian Council of Agriculture. For eligibility to this examination, one should have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics as the compulsory subjects. Some of the best colleges for Agriculture in India are:

  • Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana
  • Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbature
  • Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar

This is a four-year course and the average salary of a B.Sc. Agriculture degree holder is Rs. 6.74 LPA.

My parents are from Kerala working in UP. I am born and brought up in UP, studied xth and xiith in UP and have birth certificate from UP. is a domicile certificate needed to apply neet 85% quota in UP?

Dear aspirant, you don't need any domicile certificate for applying to 85% STATE QUOTA. As per the rules any student who has completed 10th and 12th from UP will not be required to provide domicile certificate during counselling.

Your 10th and 12th marksheet are proof that you are permanent resident of this state so there's no need to provide domicile certificate.

there is a news that all exams like AIIMS and other have been cancelled , and any student who want to make MBBS should approach NEET , In any college of India. Is this true or not ???

Hi Prabha,

Yes. According to the new criteria all students who want to appear for MBBS have to appear for NEET and there will be no separate tests for AIIMS and JIPMER. Admission in both the Institutions will be on the baiss of NEET score only. So the news you have heard is absolutely true.

Is... Aiims, jipmer and neet are conducting together in 2020

Hello dear student,
This time individual exams of aiims and jipmer have been scrapped off from the shevles. So there will be no individual exams will be held . But NTA will be conducting NEET which is the national entrance test and aiims and jipmer are included in this exam only that is seats of these colleges will be filled by NEET only . Hello Sujal,  Nagpur Veterinary college is accepting NEET score for admission process. So in order to take admission in this college you have to clear NEET.  This college is not accepting MHT CET score.
