AIIMS MBBS 2018 AIR 5 Amitabh Chauhan said in his interview that “It is mandatory to read between the lines for NCERT texts. These NCERT textbooks are written in such a way that one reading gives you a feeling that you have understood everything, but later on you realise that there is more to what you read.”
The director of Career Point, Mr. Shailendra Maheshwari also advised that NCERT books are best for AIIMS 2019 preparations, but the theoretical explanations given in NCERT are insufficient to crack AIIMS MBBS exam. Secondly, the number of questions are very less as compared to the competitive exam preparations. Therefore, to elaborate the concepts in depth some add one books are required.

NCERT books only strengthen the fundamental of a particular subject, thus to get in-depth knowledge, candidates must practice through these books of AIIMS MBBS 2019.
The medical entrance exam will contain 200 multiple choice questions, out of which only 50% will be asked on the lines of NCERT books. The other sufficient books than NCERT will help medical aspirants to answer the remaining questions.
