The result of JIPMER MBBS 2015 entrance exam has been declared on Saturday, June 13, 2015. The exam was conducted in online mode on June 7, 2015. As per the officials, 85,155 candidates have taken the test out of 1,37,000 registered candidates. Careers360 presents to you the list of top 10 rankers who have topped the JIPMER exam. As you can see in the above table, the 3rd and 4th topper have secured 99.995 percentile. The toppers ranking 5, 6 and 7 have obtained 99.92 percentile each and 8th, 9th and 10th rankers have secured 99.980 percentile.

The exam was of moderate to tough difficulty level. According to the test takers, Physics was the toughest section. English Comprehension and Logic & Quantitative Reasoning were tricky in nature.

 

As per the exam pattern, JIPMER is an online test of 2.5 hours duration. There are 200 questions from the sections. Physics, Chemistry and Biology carried 60 questions and another section of English comprehension and logic and quantitative reasoning had 10 questions from each. One mark will be allotted for each correct answer and there will be no negative marking for wrong answer.

 

The total number of MBBS seats is 150. Candidates qualifying through the cutoff will be allotted the seats on the basis of counselling.

Dear Shruti, yes JIPMER MBBS has been replaced by NEET. So the admission for the 200 MBBS seats of both the branches of JIPMER will be conducted via NEET score. For the benefit of you and lakhs of aspirants, we shall detail the registration process.

ELIGIBILITY:

  • Indian Nationals, NRIs, PIOs, OCIs, and Foreign Nationals
  • No upper age limit as of now. The Candidate should be at least 17 years by December 31st of 2020
  • You should have completed your 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as your Core Subjects.
  • 50% Aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST Candidates.
  • NIOS and Private Candidates are also eligible

IMPORTANT DATES:

Registration Dates: 2nd to 31st December, 2019
Downloading of Admit Cards: 27th March, 2020
Date of Examination: 3rd May, 2020
Date of Announcing Result: 4th June, 2020

Yes, JIPMER which is the entrance exam held for admission to the MD/MS/ MDS programmes offered at Puducherry campus is held twice a year for post-graduate i.e. ms / md admission ; in two sessions namely January and july session. . Jawahar Lal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry will conduct JIPMER PG 2020 January session on December 8, 2019. The test is a computer based one for admissions to 100 MD/MS seats offered at JIPMER Puducherry.

Hello,

CAT registration for 2019 started from 7th August and was opened till 25th September. So, it's concluded.

Secondly, you've tagged JIPMER MBBS, I'm presuming you want to know about its application dates. So, let me tell you now onwards there shall be only one entrance test for admission of MBBS and that is NEET. Earlier, AIIMS and JIPMER used to conduct their own entrance test which no longer will take place.

From 2020-2021 session onwards, NEET remains the sole entrance exam for admission for MBBS.
