JIPMER PG 2015 - Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) is national level entrance exam conducted for admission to Post Graduate courses in Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master of Surgery (MS). JIPMER PG 2015 entrance exam for July session is conducted for 94 MD/MS seats in 24 courses. JIPMER PG 2015 exam for July session will be conducted in online mode on May 31, 2015. JIPMER PG 2015 Eligibility: Important Highlights of JIPMER PG 2015 Eligibility Criteria for July Session are given below:

  • Applicant must be an Indian National

  • Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) can also apply for the JIPMER PG 2015 but they have to submit proof of Registration as OCI at the time of counseling

  • Applicant must have MBBS or an equivalent Degree recognized by the Medical Council of India.

  • Candidates have either completed or due to complete One Year Internship (Rotatory Housemanship) training by June 30, 2015

JIPMER PG 2015 Exam Pattern: JIPMER PG 2015 exam is a computer based test as per the syllabus prescribed by the examination authority. The exam booklet of JIPMER PG 2015 exam had questions from subjects taught during the MBBS course. The exam was only one paper of three hours duration consisting of 250 Multiple Choice Questions with one correct response.

 

JIPMER PG 2015 Application Procedure: The application procedure of JIPMER PG 2015 for July session begins on March 9, 2015. Candidate must note that JIPMER PG 2015 application form have to be submitted online. Offline applications or printed copies were not accepted.  The candidates will be required to fill in the basic details in JIPMER PG 2015 Application Form such as academic details, internship details and other personal details. The cost JIPMER PG 2015 examination fee is Rs. 1000 for General and Sponsored candidates and Rs. 800 for SC/ST/OPH applicants. The entrance fee could have been remitted through Net Banking/ Debit Card/Credit Card.

JIPMER PG 2015 Admit Card: Candidates whose application will be accepted can download JIPMER PG 2015 admit card from May 6, 2015. The admit will have the candidate’s detail like name, roll number, exam center, time and examination instructions.

 

JIPMER PG 2015 Result: The JIPMER PG 2015 result will be declared on June 5, 2015. The result of only qualified candidates will be declared.

 

JIPMER PG 2015 Merit List: The JIPMER Merit list will be based on the percentile. The percentile will be determined on the basis of the average marks obtained by the first top ten candidates in the JIPMER MD / MS Entrance Examination. In order to be eligible for admission to Postgraduate course at JIPMER, it will be necessary for a candidate to obtain a percentile of 50 and above in the Entrance Examination. However, in respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes including OPH, the minimum percentile shall be 40. In respect of Unreserved Orthopedic Physically Challenged (OPH) candidates, 45 shall be the minimum percentile

 

JIPMER PG 2015 Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected for selected for MD/ MS Course solely on the basis on merit list. JIPMER Merit list will be prepared only for those candidates who secure the qualifying marks in the entrance exam. Based on their rank in the merit list candidates will be called for counselling and accordingly seats will be allotted to them against their rank

 

JIPMER PG 2015 Counselling: For the counselling session adequate number of candidates will be called according to the merit list. Counseling will be done according to the category rank (UR / INST / OBC / SC / ST / OPH) and not by the overall rank as per the Roster Point allocation method.

sir, does number of mbbs passing attempts count in jipmer pg, and in my case i was not given my 3rd year exam because of attendance shortage does that comes under deported, i have 60 percentage of mbbs as aggregate am i qualified for writing jipmer pg exam sir .

Medical aspirants have to fulfill the required JIPMER PG 2020 eligibility criteria if they plan to appear for the January session of MD/MS and MDS courses. Eligibility criteria of JIPMER PG details nationality, qualifying exam, internship, work experience, minimum qualifying marks etc. Candidates who meet the prescribed JIPMER PG eligibility criteria 2020 can fill the application form from September 18.

Hello Aspirant,

As per the lastest orders given by the central government, there will be no AIIMS or JIPMER examinations conducted from 2020, only NEET is considered as the common medical examination conducted throughout the country for the allocation of Medical seats. To get a seat in government college through NEET the candidate has to score a minimum of 900+. I apply for jipmer pg entrance exam... but mistakenly I upload the wrong photo... can I change my photo in application... or shall I apply again.... if I applied again will fees refund....

hello aspirant,

please be careful when you are filling a form.  check the notification if there is any correction window available or not. if thats not possible you need to again apply with a new mail id and phone number. and you will not get any fees refund for that as the mistakes is done by you and jipmer exam authority is not responsible for this.
